  1. Blow him up on social media to save the rest of the country from the same agony. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Just remember—just because you request it doesn’t mean you’ll get it. Every judge is different and some are REALLY “different”. [emoji849] Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. You would have to file in his town. You can add your fuel costs to your judgement request. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Scotty counters are easily changed between feet and meters. The counter will tell you whether it’s in feet or meters. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. The fleas are lakewide. They love 60 degree water and that is where they are found. Fortunately, the past couple of years, we have only had about two weeks of “bad fleas”. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Point Breeze. Catch surveys provide proof that the Oak is the place to be. It’s also home to the most helpful, welcoming group of captains and rec fishermen you’ll find anywhere. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  9. Yep—get the X4. Don’t go cheap. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. I chartered for 15 years without anything but surface speed and did fine. I used cable angle and the bend in my diver rods to make sure my speed was right. It is a learned technique though. One that requires a LOT of time on the water—time you apparently don’t have. Invest in the fish hawk—it’s definitely game changing but do yourself a favor—learn to fish without it and just use it as reference. As I always say in my seminars—once you’re used to fishing with it you won’t be able to fish without it—unless you train yourself. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Check out the new Bay Rat line of spoons. Designed specifically for Lake Ontario browns and Erie walleyes. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. If you run 15# backing with boards and lead core on Lake Ontario you better have a good supply of lead core. Kings aren’t walleyes. 50# braid attached to the lead core with a double Willis knot. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Then why don’t you? It’s not like it’s the other side of the planet! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. Last year was an anomaly. There was so many Kings in the lake that it didn’t matter what you ran most days. The same spoons that worked the first week of May were still working in September. As a general rule, though, Yankee pretty much nailed it—as he usually does. [emoji8] Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
