  1. One Day this year proved it's the way to go. It also leaves Sunday if you get a blow off. Entry money doesn't seem an issue and I'm sure $1000 would work. Hope I'm lucky enough to get invited in 2012. Look forward to it. Class Tournament Kevin.
  2. Thanks for capturing this years Tournament Excitement for us Mike. Enjoyed your company at all 4.
  3. The ones with glow in the plastic-not painted. Send PM
  4. Hey Great Video Mike. I know a few of those guys.
  5. Congratulations and glad she's staying in Oswego. You made a good move and good luck with your new vessel.
  6. I'll take them Frank. I'll be up Wednesday night.
  7. Ray, For the right price I'll sell my 24 Thompson.
  8. Wonder if the guys really were who they say they were.Better check /Cancel that card.
  9. Paul, I for one would like to see them continue. Thats why I think all the rules should be reviewed. If they are really planning a review at the end of this year I think it's an opportunity to make adjustments and It should take place. I would offer input ,either in person, or via e-mail.
  10. I'm not sure if it's possible for me to tell which county i'm in on the water.GPS tell you that? If a team wants to run that far it's a gamble and there's a lot of luck involved. Lets face it with the rules as they are there's a lot of luck involved anyway based on the size of the fish caught- If everyone's playing by the rules. Are they? Leave it the way it is.
  11. I also agree 18" is fine. I do believe however that the rules should include -(Mandatory)every fish must be measured with the observer before it is placed in the cooler or thrown back.
  12. After the A-tomik Challenge Saturday we'll all be too pooped to fish Sunday anyway.LOL
  13. Congratulations to the Brown Trout Masters of Lake Ontario. Only you guys could smoke the rest of us with what your team does best.
  14. Todd, I believe the Resturant and Office usually open at 5 AM. (585) 682-4224 You could call if your not sure.
  15. You know Ray -I agree and thats a rule that should be reviewed also.
  16. Thanks to all who replied. My only intent on this post was to point out that we all should try to convince and not force our views on others. When the rule was changed years ago that opened communication I was a supporter. I was told by many who refused to fish the following year that it would hurt the tournament and not be a good thing. I was wrong and they were right based on the fact that the outcome of the event can change within 2 hrs of the finish. I have changed my view as have many others who have signed the agreement.Fact of the matter is all rules for all events should be reviewed and revised as required if the event is to survive and grow.Been fishing the Pro Ams since the mid 90's and I haven't see a great deal of growth hope it survives. And I'll never believe change can't happen.
  17. Rod, Glad you clarified your statement. Don't think all parties who want non-communication should give up at all on changing the rules.
  18. Rod, What I heard the Am team say was that the information was passed to them during pre fishing and not during tournament hours.Sure you have your facts straight? Because if that's true then Pro teams who signed already broke the agreement.
  19. Pete, If the Pro Am wont change the rule about non communication they shouldn't about start time. Shade, Dont get me wrong I would sign but my teams majority doesn't agree. I am working to change that for the next tournament. Just can't believe that the rule can't be changed if thats what the majority of teams want. Just wanted to point out that there should not be threats or intimidation tactics from those who have signed.
  20. Let me get this clarified. A voluntary agreement on the start time? Or a rule change?
  21. And lets try not to trash any friendships over this issue
