  1. Are you sure its not that crap off the poplars, the lake is loaded with it?
  2. To bad it went to hell, I chartered out of there in the 90ties and met some nice boaters and fishermen. It wasn't hard to find a party going on, The blow boaters had a big race and a party after, I walked down the Road from the parking lot to A dock about 10:30 after one of there partys and found a partyer laying in the middle of the roadway, I walked by, then went back to see if he was all right, I said to him are you all right and he said I fell down and I can't reach my hat. . They let the marina go to hell after they opened the bar.
  3. OK Ray, us giezers don't use walkers any more, we got power chairs with tracks and power winches and rod holders on the arms with rocket launchers on the hard top. oh and the crossbow mount with the mini winch to cock the CB. walkers are out Ray you got to come into the 21 century.

  5. Thats the Oswego river, you can launch south of Fulton at the old Miller plant, theres no dock and parking for 4 or 5 trailers. The creek is 2-3 miles south on the west side of the river. I'm not sure if you can get in the creek any more, the last I heard the water chestnuts had it plugged up. OH, theres no ramp there its just dirt. I believe it on rt.57 on the east side of the river. good luck.
  6. One morning on Canadagua jigging I was doing a fast retrieve and hooked and lost 5 fish on one retrieve so keep reeling till the bait is out of the water. Good luck.
  7. Looks like you and your friends had a great weekend and got some dandy fish to boot.
  8. WAG guys, sounds like you had two great days together. . God bless our Troops. .
  9. Nice report, when your hot your hot. . Any reward for the lost lures.
  10. Longline ,thats the same setup I use, no problems.
  11. I've got a 50 on a 16ft. lund and can run from 18 up,some days it gives me fits stalling so I will run one bucket short down the chute. So far so good. I found that when I lower the motor to run I leave it tilted a hair above level. But like Lund S said have your carbs adjusted. Also I ordered the Happy troller and it didn't fit my motor so I sent it back. One of the other brands makes one for 50hp and lower, check Cabela's Cat. Good Luck.
  12. The smaller ones arn't bad, cook them with small mouth and you can't tell the deference. Yum.
  13. Good report, I wanted to go deeper yesterday but I'm betting there was 4fters.out there WTG
  14. Funny thing, I've been out quite a bit this spring and I haven't caught a laker this year. Guess you have to fish sandy if you want laker's. Maybe I'm going to fast for them. Hope the kid gets to fight a few. I don't think there was over 6-8 trailers in that lot when I pulled out yesterday.
  15. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):5\25 Time on Water:6am-10am Weather/Temp: south wind 15-20mph maybe. Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: 1-2ft. Surface Temp: 20fow 54 deg. 60fow 59deg.serface temp. Location: east of bay. LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: none Total Boated: Species Breakdown: Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: Down Speed: Boat Depth: 40-70 fow. Lure Depth: 15-60fow. ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Took the skunk for a ride this morning, marked some bait in around 40fow not many fish on the screen. Thought it might be a little choppy out over 100fow with that strong south wind so I stayed in side and quit early.Good luck to all of you this weekend.I don't go near I Bay launch on weekends it to crazy for me.
  16. I heard the CG. will be using range finders.
  17. Well that sounds like a wonderful evening, and was Mr. Green excited about his fishing experience ? . I went out this morning, got on the water by 6AM,started marking bait around 40fow so I set up there. I put out one board and a deep thunder stick and two riggers with spoons, no takers worked out to 60fow and put out two wire divers with a spoon and a dodger and squid for Cohos. Trolled out to100 fow no hits.I dropped the riggers down 60ft. and 90ft. and added free sliders and worked out to 150fow. WOW a hit on the 90ft. rigger, Oh no its a double, same line, two shaker kings, what a battle . Set back up and worked that area for a while, moved out to 225fow, didn't mark anything. The lake was flat and the bugs were out and it was getting hot, I changed up the lures and put down a spinny and hammer fly, and trolled on. Did I say it was hot? Well the wind shifted from the south to the north, that cooled it down in a hurry .No more hits and the waves were up to about two footers, so we called it a day at 11:00. Slow day but no skunk.
  18. Think I'll be out in the morning and try it again. .
