  5. I ran meat on the flys and it worked well. Perch filets, 3-4" long. Keep on ice, if the fish don't want them put them out in the sun and have them for lunch. .

  9. You could try along the west shore , try to find trees in the water. A friend of mine use to dive there and said the perch stacked up under them. Good luck.

  11. I liked to have a boat hook handy, your partner can hook on to the dock cleet, try not to yank him out of the boat. . I'm sure weve all had bad days docking.
  12. If you think its scary to go out in the small boat I think you should stay off the big lake thill you have more confindence in your boat, theres no room to panic out there if you get cought in a sudden wind change or a storm. be safe and good luck. .

  15. I've been running a 16fter on the lake and it handles it well, you just have to know when to pull and run.

  17. Steve,I don't have down speed, useing GPS my best speed has been2.7 I just have to have to let the fish tell me when I'm going the right direction for that speed. .
  18. Nice fish, took a friend out yesterday who isn't in and I was hoping we wouldn't hook into a big one. We didn't. .
