  4. Very imformative. thanks musky bob. The 85-96 years is the numbers avg yearly or is it total for those years. If it's the avg a lot more people used to fish and catch more fish on the big O. I never fish back then got into lake ontario fishing in late 90s. Pat

  6. Hi guys, I never tried fishing with dodger and flies. Reason being we were without a boat for 3 years. Finally got another one last fall but too late for any fishing. I dont have a lot of experience fishing for salmon. My question is what are some good combos to start up with? So any help would be greatly appreciated. Pat
  7. Only fish for a couple hours this am. Headed west out of the little salmon river. Setup in 15fow. went 1/3 all browns. Stickbaits/Boards. heard guys having good catches on the radio. We just couldnt get a program going. Theres always tommarrow. Pat

  14. Finally went bullhead fishing at pine grove friday night. The bugs were bad and so was the fishing. Pat
  15. Went out this morning, Lake was flat. Ran towards catfish creek out of the little salmon. Went 4/6. all browns. Action was fast. Hooked up with all fish in a hour time frame. Firetiger and perch stickbaits off the boards. Went back in with the rest of the fleet when t-storms rolled in. Pat
  16. Whats a fantail steelhead? Is it a hybred or something? Never seen or heard of them before.

  20. fishtails, i mostly fish in 15-20fow so that was probaly why no board releases. The fish hit on a NK DL watermelon. Mostly down 5 feet. Pat

This one is simple and i have been useing it alot this year. -Fresh brown trout fillets -2 scoops of Butter(can be more) -lemon juice -tin foil -Garlic salt Put the butter on the tin foil then the fish. Sprinkle the fish with the lemon juice and garlic salt. Cook on the grill till done. Its a good and quick and easy meal. Pat
  22. I also used to fish the oswego river for walleyes. I had the same problems with people not having lights on there boats and the extreme amount of boating pressure in that small area. I would assume that during the week it is better. Never tried it then. If i fish the oswego harbor for walleyes now i just cast off the shore. It does work. Pat
  23. I use 3M boat cleaner right now and it seems to work good. You can get it for around $10. I never tried Automotive Bleach. Might give that a try also. Pat
  24. Fished from 6-10am. Went 2/4 all browns. Had all fish hit off spoons on the riggers. Nothing on the planner boards. Browns are still around but they seemed to shut off around 8. Pat
