  1. Browns will be the next thing they’ll be messing with. You watch and wait. I’ll bet my left n—t on it.
  2. Steelhead fishery has been rock solid for many years, In the tribs and the lake. The more regs we get the worse it will be for all. Just wait that will not be the end of the B.S.
  3. Get yourself Spro 35lb barrel swivels and tie what ever knot works for you.
  4. No and i like it that way, kevin.
  5. Fished the previous day to the west and it was a fantastic day with a good class of browns and two 14 to 17lb lakers as well. On my way home i saw good water by the river and figured i would start there in the am. i did just that and had a great bite in a 5hr trip all brownies. We also got our first king that weighed in at 17.3lbs. I believe this year is going to be like last year with all these salmon around so early up and down the lake. What ever happens , it is still great to be out on the best of the great lakes.
  6. Thanks for leaving the browns to us. Good job on the forkies.
  7. You do smallmouth trips too???LOL
  8. It sucks Brian. We are reviewing the cameras on the bridge.
  9. Yes it was well below the water line, that is how i found it. Like a drinking fountain coming in.
  10. I would suggest a short trip with a charter captain in the area you like to fish. You should learn alot from most captains that would take alot of time on the water for you to get that knowledge. This time of the year we all basically fish the same. Whether it's your port or not. I would be happy to show you what i know. Good luck.
  11. I caught a 5lb brown last june in Rochester that was tagged on the Niagara bar in april. That tag was worth a 100$
  12. Got the boat wet Monday am. Tuesday looked to be the best day of this week, so off we went. Left at 10 back at 2:30. Headed east fished from Irondequoit to hedges. Started in the shallower water on the first pass down had plenty of bites mostly smaller fish a few good ones. Stayed out deeper on the way back and got more quality fish. Worked in 10 to 20 foot of water. Bright colors were by far the better the water was a green but not that milky green. Never had a chance to to fish riggers. Chinook #2 divers 25 to 15’. Deeper plugs worked better out in the 20’ range. Everything went very well except the 1/8” HOLE someone had to drill in my transom. All fixed but what bunch of B. S. I have a suspicion who the culprit might be. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Got out today with anthony from timber lake tackle and myself, Hookedup. We got anthonys 18' lund in the water and fished for a good 4 hrs and managed over 20 plus bites with 4 of them in the 10 lb range all bt's. Fished looked healthy and were hungry with empty stomachs. The water went from 33 to 35 degrees. Natural sticks were the man by far. Everything ran well with no issues, except a few forgotten things but we managed. It was all good to be doing it once again.
