  12. I had a Remington 1100 with the square b scope mount and rifled choke tube. It shot well to 100 yds with cheap winchester slugs, the thing didn't like remington sluggers (not sure if the 5/8 oz vs 3/4 oz made that much of a difference). Make sure the scope mount/scope does not move, I kept having problems with mine so got rid of it and got a cantilever barrel fully rifled. Another issue I had was the slugs would leave lots of lead deposits and after 3-4 shots the slugs would be all over the place. I would clean it and get 3-4 good shots again then it would start throwing the slugs all over the target. I never tried sabots but was impressed by the "cheap" slugs and how accurate I could get if the gun was clean with the choke tube. My choke tube was a hastings that I found years ago.
  13. Do you know if these will fit Bert's tracks? If so I maybe interested in 2, but have it on my christmas wish list and will know after christmas.

  15. Chas, Thanks. I ordered them from etrailer, I also needed some new rollers for it and saw they had them. Thanks for the help everyone.
  16. It is an easy loader trailer and is like the superlube spindle. So I will leave it as is. Now if I can only get the auto parts store to get the right seal in I can get them repacked and check another to do off my list.
  17. Lost a lure, I think they are like the superlube spindle but have not hooked up the grease gun to see where it comes out. There is one hole I can see on the front/outside bearing but not sure if there is one on the inside bearing. Thanks I pulled one side off to get new seals and bearings if needed and have not had a chance to look at it again, but will tonight to see where the grease comes out from filling the zerk and to see if it is an easy loader. Which I'm thinking it is after skipper brought that up and not a load rite. Thanks all for the help.
  18. I have a new to me trailer that i pulled the bearings out to inspect and replace/repack. i just bought the boat and previous owner didnt use the trailer much but the bearings look brand new. So I am going to repack them and replace the seals. But in the process of getting the dust caps off I mangled one so far. When removing it I see that there is a zerk fitting on the axle and just a rubber seal and dust cap. Since I have to replace the mangled dust cap should I just take the zerk off the axle and add bearing buddies? Anyone know if this is ok, i assume it is but want to check. The trailer is a load rite made for starcraft from 2000, boat is a starcraft superfisherman 17.6 ft. Thanks
  19. John1947 yes it is 4 stroke and the marina said they thought it was under 20 hours. Rolmops - I assume it can be changed to remote but am not 100% sure. Most new motors it is just a matter of getting the remote and adding cables and hooking up the wires. I guess if bass pro has them on sale then go for it, I looked it up on NADA for the value and am under their low retail price. But if anyone is interested I will respond otherwise I may just sit on it until spring/summer to see if i can get the price.
  20. ttt, changed the price also
  21. I also have a 20ga 1187 with rifled barrel and use the hornady sst's and they pattern good for me. I have used the remington slugger and winchester cheapo slugs and found the winchester to pattern better. But I found that shooting the cheap slugs I get about 3 shots that are good then they start flying all over so I have to clean the barrel and there is alot of lead fouling removed when cleaning then it shoots better for 3 shots of the cheap slugs. I have used the sst's and do get longer between cleanings.
  22. Thanks for all the help ended up with a Superfisherman but should work well.
