  2. I used to fish out of oak orchard in a 12 ft with 5.5 hp on calm days. If it was too windy I would troll the river for pike and panfish or bass fish. I have a 16 ft now that i still fish out of the oak with and if it's a blow off day there is lake alice/waterport dam, glenwood is not too far, erie canal and the oak orchard river to fish.
  3. Carrylite and Flambeaus. If interested make an offer, just want to get them out of the way. Thanks,
  4. FLXtroutman, I agree go Tigers and Red Wings and even the Lions 5-0 holy cow it must be pretty cold down below. I grew up in Livonia just outside Detroit.
  5. Insert homer simpson drooling. mmmmm looks good.
  6. My front mount electric trolling motor has the auto pilot, which is great. I get the trolling motor and kicker in the water and running to get the speed then click the autopilot and just have to keep an eye out for other boats. This does not work great for staging fishing, but when things are spread out works great. I did have one time I was fighting a fish and trying to net it that I got close to another boat but it seemed like they saw me fighting the fish and moved off enough to avoid problems. The electric trolling motor is pretty old but still works good, it has been moved from the last few boats i've had.
  7. 1986 Smokercraft 16' Deep V Good condition. 1977 55hp Evinrude runs good also have spare motor for parts. Humminbird Fishfinder, bilge pump, new gas tank, motor has 1 yr old rebuilt starter, new steering cable as well as new control cables. $2000 or best offer. (585) 356-7470

  9. tbromund, They will replay them, just might have to wait a month or two. My tivo seems to record reruns all the time although I have it set to just record first runs. And it seems like they replay them multiple times. Was good seeing it and looking forward to the orleans proam show.
  10. Interested in one. Will you be at the Lotsa flea market in February? If so would you hold onto till then and I will get it then?
  11. In western Wyoming co many does and yet to see a buck, se orleans 3 bucks to 4 does/anterless, 2 of those bucks were really nice one had to be a 10 pt just too far to shot at.
  12. I've had good luck with Winchester Drylock 3" 1 1/4 oz. I have started going with more shot as opposed to faster velocity as I helped with a CONSEP training a few years ago. It was put on by Tom Roster and its Cooperative shooting education program that teaches people how to use steel shot effectively. They showed that more shot had a better effect on shooting. It was a full day in the field of shooting steel shot, range estimates, and patterning. I did try a couple of boxes of black cloud, they seem pretty good but need to do more field testing. Kents are my back up if I cannot get drylocks.
  13. Does anyone know if you need a license for the hand held walkie talkie type radios? I got a pair of the 36 mile range ones and it seems like you need to get a license to use certain channels? Thanks
  14. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):7/12/10 Time on Water:630-1100am Weather/Temp:73 at surface Wind Speed/Direction:sw 10 maybe Waves: 1-2 Surface Temp: 73 Location: north of point breeze LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 4 Total Boated:1 steelie Species Breakdown:steelie Hot Lure: not sure of name, green ladder light green spoon, white spin doctor with blue green fly Trolling Speed: ? forgot gps and no probe Down Speed: ? Boat Depth: 240-250 was where hits happened Lure Depth: 70 for spin doctor and 40 for spoons with slider ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Got out at 630 and got first hit at 730 felt like somthing good but lost it and had another two releases on the spin doctor but nothing on. Then went dead for awhile, not marking anything on the depth finder. worked 200 to 300 out in front of the oak. A bunch of other boats out there, saw some catching fish. Used two riggers, spin doctor on 50 to 100 moved it around to see if i could get a hit. Then had a spoon on the the other rigger 30-50 ft put a slider on with the mountain dewish ladder back spoon and got a hit imediately, turned out to be a 7-8 lb steelie. Sorry to the other boat I may have messed up when fighting the fish, should have got the electric trolling motor out with the autopilot. Hope I didnt mess them up too much, was trying to fight the fish, keep the boat somewhat straight and net the fish. Fleas were not too bad, had a few but not too many to deal with.
