  3. posting this for one of my fishing partners who for health reasons has decided to sell his boat.1989 257 walk-around ,26 loa 8-6 beam, new not re-built crate motor in 2009,5.0 mercruiser, mercruiser i/o.three cannon downriggers, moor subtroll,8 hp merc elec start kicker, tied into charging system, new garmin 5" color fish finder, two stinger planer masts, nice canvas top and sides.surprising amount of room in very deep stand up cabin.stove(elec),stand-up head, small fridge and storage rack for 6 8-6 poles built in to cabin wall.she cruises mid-twentys,tops out at 34 mph with 3 people on board and a full tank.fresh water wash down installed 2009,built in fish box, smallest doghouse i've seen in a while.i've traded rides with dave for a couple seasons now and know he takes great care of his ride.i will add pics. after my next trip to the marina.boat name,It's All Good, can be seen at Mikes Marina in mexico untill they pull her.Dave will be riding with me next year. owner Dave Kasten 315-451-7109 reduced to 4500. or b/offer. boat is front of mikes marina west,on the trailor, Dave does not want to carry her over the winter.i don't believe no one's bought her yet and 4500. for the boat, trailor, kicker, electronics, etc. is a give-a way price.
  4. called twice.saw one boat out where you were.i was watching for you closer to where i went.
  5. stayed in close near the big river sat. afternoon.chrome dodger/white fly took a rip 105 ft of wire out on 3,peeled 30 ft of line and gone.50 fow. moved in a bit.had three releases on a watermelon j-plug no one home and dropped 1 same plug all between 38 and 45 fow. nice afternoon for a ride, didn't see a lot of fish caught on anyone's boat.
  6. on the cops end, a lot of time, documentation, and possibly a court appearence for a judge in family court to dismiss the whole case.having them work it off would be great but you need the parents to enforce that and that is un-likely.i think my dad was burning firewood in the 90's from a halloween prank that got carried away in the seventies by my brother and several of our friends.4 dad's dropped the trees and seven kids cut em with a bucksaw, split and stacked 'em and hauled the whole lot home .never did that again.there was some corperal punishment in there as well which i survived without counseling.
  7. throw some change in next trip when you set up.that should cover it.
  8. the zoo is always fun. i try to stay inside or outside of most of them.wish the lake ould lay down to fours today,i'd go in a minute.promised to attend the fair mon. but i do have some vacation days left for w-t-f-s-s to increase my carbon footprint.
  9. great job.wish i could get out to keep you company.can't go monday and sat afternoon and sun don't look good.
  10. i heard a fair number of fish went up the river yesterday, and some were spotted in the village of pulaski.
  11. fished with a guy who brought his own leadcore rods last week.he runs dipsys off of them, something i never tried or heard of.depth is controlled by the number of colors and setting,(i always let out all the colors and have several rods set-up),just wondered if anyone else tries this and how it works,or not.we didn't achieve good results and if i were on my boat i would've pulled em and put my wire out.
  12. 18. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):7/11 Time on Water:5:30-11am Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction:w ? Waves: 0-2 Surface Temp: 72 Location:north of sandy pond to lsr LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 1 Total Boated:1 Species Breakdown:coho Hot Lure: atomik fly Trolling Speed: 3.0 Down Speed: 2.3-2.5 Boat Depth: 180 Lure Depth: 145 foc ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS tried north for the first time set-up just north os sandy pond, trolled north.went in and out between 140-200.lots of cold water, not much bait or marks.temp varied a great deal all day.went west then south, took the ho stright in front of the lsrand the big river in 180 fow.hit 42 degree water at 90, 120, 140,and 54 degree at 160 as we went along.daves turn to drive, his riggers only hold 170 feet of cable.heard the brown bite was good on the radio, was hoping to hit cold water, bait and salmon and stayed out.coho was around 10 lbs.,kept this one for my neighbor.he mowed my lawn so i'd have more time to fish.sorry for the delay, may take friday off,if not next try sunday am. ====================
  19. when i stack riggers, often this year ,i do very similar to yadamirage''s set-up except i put a clean(no attractor) spoon on the bottom anywhere from 50ft to 75 ft back, then a spin doc fly combo stacked above 15-25 back, with a min. separation of 10 ft.free slide a spoon or sometimes a jitter fly on the top line.theory is fish drawn in to the spread by the flasher who reject it will swim back and down and find the spoon.i usually use similar colors for the flasher/fly and spoons.
  20. good luck in the pro-am.when i used flea-flicker i put a good ball bearing swivel 5-6 feet ahead of the snap.no twist issues. quit using it becuse i thought the noise it made cut down on strikes.i still have a bulk spool and may re-consider that after last weeks flea catch.
  21. oh my! the c-130's and the awacs i've seen i assumed were from camp drum, home of the 10th mountain which has been in iraq. if those guys need to practice let em.would you want to be on the ground and count on air support from a squadron of pilots with 0 zre hours training becuse we saved gas money? and yes, by the number of patrol boats and border patrol on c.guard vessels i would say they are looking for something.un-taxed liquer and cigarettes from canada would be my guess.
  22. nice day.never heard of sebille or ondu color.where could i find one if i wanted to take a look?
