  1. We ran slide divers w/ very, very long leads + core & copper off the boards on Sat out of Port Bay w/ out any more results than our rigger presentations. Hopefully things will come together by the end of the week.
  2. Did the late day bite program on 8/9 with 1 steel, Sun a bit better steel bite. Fish mood seemed pretty negative. Nice bait pods 60-80' down over 200' but few takers. Had an awesome evening meal that we grilled up on the beach after fishing Sat. Boat accumulated some water on Sat afternoon and again on Sun but couldn't figure out where it was emanating from. Looked at it with Hank after we got off the water and left it in his capable hands. Hopefully the fish will remember it's mid August and turn on by next weekend...
  3. Excellent. WTG Tim! -Andy
  4. Nice going! Always good to get new folks into Big O fishing. -Andy
  5. Nice work! -Andy
  6. Not much to report. Took Frisco out to show him the jigging ropes & he got the only fish to the boat. Did not mark the concentrations of fish i wanted and those that hit were short strikers. Really nice morning on the water though and good to catch up with a friend. Now that I'm back in jigging mode with the little boat I'm ready to get at em! -Andy
  7. If the wind switches to the west during sat nite as noaa calls it, the west side should be ok. Have to see I guess.
  8. Contemplating an early am shot to Cayuga for some jigging on Sun. Anybody been out lately, got intel, etc? Thanks -Andy
  9. Wicked steel, & ho! Super nice fish, congrats!! -Andy

  13. Got the Jekyl & Hyde Spinny and the Seduction Pro Troll. Tried em at the Oak but wires weren't really happening. Couple weeks and I'll dunk em again. http://www.fishsalmoncandy.com/search.php?search_query=custom+flasher&x=0&y=0
  14. I've got the new probe with the 840 monitor. No problems.
  15. I'm pretty sure I couldn't show you a darn thing about fishing all that mid lake east side structure Ed! Last time I hit that area I 'contributed' at least one ball and a couple spoons to the Seneca God's.
  16. Keep on rockin' Ed. Nice job! -Andy
  17. Alas, I will need to be at the plant on Sat, so it is with deep regrets that team chowder must bow out. Good luck to all!
  18. These Fingerlakes Tackle spoons are obviously high quality stuff. Paint job is outstanding, can't wait to get em in the water!

  20. Looks like you guys had a good time! -Andy
  21. Wound up fishing solo today. Fish mood seemed negative. Took a bunch of skippers and 2 teenagers on the riggers as well as 1 brown and one big ol laker. 2 kings again on the 400' copper carbon 14 mag and 1 steely on the steely dan ss off the 5 color. Got bumpy and ugly. All fish released at the side of the boat including 1 teenage king who ripped off my green hornet spoon just as I almost had it out (SOB!!). Doesn't look promising for tomorrow, we'll just have to see...Cooking up a big baked fish dish with new potatoes, green beans and sweet corn for family & guests which is making me thirsty for these 'Farmer's Tan' Sothern Tier IPA's I just picked up- gotta go!
  22. Nice assortment of Kings, Browns , and Steel out of the Oak today. Fish seemed scattered from 60 to 250 FOW, 40 to 100 down. Only consistent producer was 400' copper + carbon 14 mag which took 4 fish. Only 1 on the wires today.Couple on the riggers,1 on 8 color, 1 on 10 color. Back at it tomorrow.
  23. Thought I saw your boat at LP! Noticed there didn't seem to be any rods in view & figured it must just be a look alike.
  24. We didn't get anything over 3 lbs for lakers last weekend. Couldn't figure it out. But they were pretty tasty
