  4. i actually tried trolling over deeper water yesterday. Lasted about 10 minutes and i was back casting shallow. Also, after talking to Jim i was committed to giving the pond a real try as well. So about noon after 3 hours without any action i gave it half a dozen casts and came up empty. No fish there.😜 I am a one trick pony for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  8. A customer in my store today showed me a photo of a legit 48" pike he caught this weekend at sodus. Looked heavy too. On a daredevil,he said. Killed it.😢 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  10. that's too bad. If you're ever there when it's dead calm and hot check shaker heights for schools of gar. If they are in there whip up a rope lure and have at. A rope lure is about 6 inches of rope unraveled and tied to your main line. No hooks. Good clean fun and gar there are up to 4 feet long.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  11. I see i cropped the background out to keep the guy's identity secret. But i'm pretty sure of the location. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. It seems like everyone has a kayak these days. I think they come standard on most Suburu models. They show up where they didn't used to,like in open water on all size lakes. A lot of them are rentals being paddled by folks with no clue about boat etiquette. We need to keep this in mind, kind of like we do with motorcycles. If you're paddling keep in mind you are hard to see even if your boat is orange or safety green. At night don't assume the light can be seen, especially if you are between shore and another boat. Your light is easily lost in the background of cottage and dock lights. And there are plenty of inexperienced boat operators around and some are texting, staring at the sonar, and drinking. You have to watch out for yourself out there. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. Nice job. Appreciate the release ethic.😀 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. I used to catch a lot of them in front of the boat launch next to Arney's,sometimes right up into the creek mouth. I don't go there anymore. Too many fish and too close to home. That's what muskies do to you.😜 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. Good report and thanks for releasing the toothies. It gets REAL crowded there in the summer. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. my 2000 lund did the same thing. I never did get it to run straight. I just learned to never let go of the wheel. Maybe the rigger was hung over and the motor was offset?Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  17. Nice job Justin. I blew my one chance at the boat and remain 0 for life in tournaments. Kevin caught a two footer to end our "never caught one in a tournament" drought. Always great to get out the first time. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  22. Another well meaning yet unenforceable waste of paper and energy. So if i post a muskie pic today i can get fined? Or do i have to say i caught it today? And the dec will now have to waste time trolling facebook and sites like this? Who thinks up this stuff? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
