    Is it just me or have the Wave Forecast been horrible for the Oswego area this year. It seems like every weekend there's a huge blow and it's not worth my drive up from 2 hours away .

    I loved mine up until they opened rifle in our area. Remington 2 3/4 accutips shot by far the best out of it. I dumped a deer at 165. She never even moved from her spot. In my opinion it is the best shotgun for deer hunting out there

    So I was cleaning my freezer yesterday and took out four packs of n & d cut bait and set them aside while I reorganized everything. I went down there today and realized I left all four packs out for over 24 hours. The vacuum seal is still intact and they look okay.     Had my bilge pump kick on this morning while fishing. I didn't think much of it until they kicked on a second time 10 minutes later. I opened up the back to find water coming in my boat pretty good. I tracked it down to a cracked cover on my washdown pump. The cap comes off the housing and there's a screen in there to clean it I never even knew about. Apparently it's some sort of removable filter. I must not have drain to properly over the winter.     I would really like to make my first trip out to the West End this spring to fish for salmon. I've wanted to do it for years but not sure where to stay or what port to go out of.
