  8. ahhh that sucks ! I feel for you ...now catch a bigger one they travel in packs!! Last time I was out with "Skipper19" Mark we decided the only thing that would make fighting a screaming king better, would be if they growled!!! Good luck!! Tom
  9. Alex, You would probably end up with a mess, lets say you had 2 cheaters one at 60 one at 50 and the main line at 70 and you catch a fish on the one at 50 I would say that the other cheater and the main line would probably get all rapped up when reeling in the fish. On the bright side you could simply cut the line and make up some new ones after you get the fish in. I definately wouldn't run anything that spins like a spin doctor or flasher on any of the lines if your gonna run more than 2. Another option would be a Seth Green rig...do a google search on it and see what you think, the only thing with a Seth Green and personally I have never used one, is that it seems it would be hard to fish one by yourself because you have to take each leader off as you bring the fish in. 10. Hiya Pete, What a predicament . My first thought was if he has the money to play with, and it sounds like he does, I would pick a Marina near Sandy Creek or even farther west and keep it there for the summer. Problem solved! twice a year trailering most of the marina's have a reputable mechanic and you could be fishing shortly after the treck up there. Just my thought. And even if "you" spend the money to keep it at a marina you might save in the long run if you think of what you would spend in gas trailering it back and forth. If he really wants to get into this big lake fishing maybe he could help epuip.? Lots of variables it seems. Tom
  11. We fished out of Port Bay a while back and trolled down towards Sodus, Probably crossed paths with the same guy you are talking about the friend that I was fishing with changed course 3 different times to try and appease the guy that obviously owned the lake out in front of Sodus and nothing from the a..hole that was heading towards us...it finally ended with him whining over the radio about the weekend warriors being out (meaning us) and a few choice words were said back...and we pointed the boat north and left the pack! Enjoyed the rest of the day away from the crowd thats for sure! Tom
