    adding a ball snubber will releive alot of the bounce with the newer faster cannons word is the power pro cable is less noisy in the water last couple years MANY guys have reported trouble with the cable snapping

    another choice is to leave around 700' of braid on your reel..tie braid to the wire (albright knot ) and put 500' of wire on....can do 2 reels with one spool this way many will disagree but ive done it many times and will continue to do it

    most sport shops carry it in stock 30 lb is most common spools same as mono.....keep it as tight as possible around 45.00 for 1000 ft spool

    yes currents can be crazy on this end of the lake 60 ft down it could have been browns....steelies ....kings....bass

    temp is deep....kings are hugging the bottom.....hooks could be lakers but might be kings.....fish the marks screw the bait and temp change colors and presentation often to see what they want that day
