Hit 200fow turned east and the 350 copper took off again, another 22# king. trolled south to 100fow with nothing. Decided to troll out deeper, hit a small steelie and a teenage king, turned south at about 450fow. We were ready to pick up in 160fow but decided to troll to 100fow. When we hit 130 fow the starboard dipsy started to scream, when the fished ran me out to 800 fol in the first run I knew it was a good fish. It took me the next 50 minutes to get the fish to the deck. When I wheighed it i new it was time to head in . Official weight at Warrens was 35.04#, my personal best.

My buddy Travis and I spent three months gutting it and restoring it. We launched her for the first time in Ontario yesterday. How nice it is to go from fishing my 20' penn yan to 26' with a 10' beam. Headed west and set up east of maxwell. We had a crew of four; my buddy Gary had never fished for trout/salmon before (bass fisherman), for the next five hours we had a steady bite with doubles and triples. We had never caught five species in one outing but we did yesterday. The Atlantic was 10.4 lbs and the largest brown was 11lbs(Gary caught that). We all had a blast and Gary is already asking to go again. The coho, steelhead, and atlantic all bite on crystal minnows, while everything else came on a mix of colors. Good luck to all. Will post pictures later satelite internet sucks in heavy rain. ====================
  13. nice brown how much water were you over when it hit?
  14. Atlantic was just over nine pounds, we threw it back unharmed so it can get bigger!

Although we kept several fish, all fish over 6 lbs were released. ====================
