I have the tr1-gold this unit has to be disconnected from the main motor to work. I've been running it for three years now and has never let me down yet. I have a 25' walk around and fish with it in four to five foot seas. One of my friends was so impressed with it he put one on this boat also. I would be lost without it ! It also comes with throttle control so all i have to do is push buttons all day Jersey Jim

This might help you guys out . I have the old fish hawk head and the new probe I had to turn up my gain and I also had to tilt my transducer back alittle bit because of blow back. I get readings as far as 160 ft down . Hope this will help. Jersey Jim

I run the fishhawk without speed and temp. at the ball I would be lost. If I where you i would have some kind of speed and temp. on your ride it will defintly help your success! I catch over 200 browns a year and so do my freinds. keep changing colors and sizes and speeds let the fish tell you what they want. Jersey Jim

When is this going to stop!!! That's 4 boats now that i know of in 2 weeks. Good thing we have someone patrolling 24/7. Hmm makes me wonder.

Thanks guys for the input found out the problem, it ended up being the ground wire. It had a break in it. Ready to go come on May first. Jersey Jim

Have plenty of power the battery starts the main engine . I cleaned up the connection to the battery. Jersey Jim

I have a 2007 15 honda four stroke with electric start and pull start. I can pull start the engine but not with the key, it make a buzzing noise like it's not getting enough power. Can it be a bad solenoid or starter ? Last year at the end of the season i started having problems, sometimes it would start and sometimes it wouldn't. Thanks Jersey Jim
