  5. I didnt see any suckers but that dosent mean their not there. the ones that made it were medium. I didnt see any big ones. Stopped again tonight saw three. water is getting pretty stained and level is rising.
  6. I had also heard that the shocking killed alot of fish last year so it was questionable.I was wondering if there was a site that posted the dates of stream shocking.

  10. Seems to be a pretty fine line on the setting. Last year i had one too tight and broke the sd and fly with fish off. Sure felt like a big fish with the dipsy still set
  11. if I remember right that was closer to 6-8 last year. I might be wrong though
  12. where abouts did it shallow. Is it already silting back in?
  13. hey chowder can you have the dipsy set too light as long as it stays set while moving?Could that be a reason as well?
  14. I am sure this has been asked before but here goes again, I would like to hear everyones opinion on running snubbers with the dipsy setups. I have heard run them and others say no way.
  15. I stopped at the power plant hole after work today. Saw 10 or more go over the ladder and a few more failed attempts. Does anyone know if they are going to shock the stream again this year?
  16. I know this is a big debate but I seemed to have better luck using snubbers then when I didnt. I like to here the opinions of others
  17. I have wondered the same. I tried it last year but all we did was wash them off I tried a couple different colors but didnt have any luck.
  18. We stopped by yesterday afternoon and it looked doable. A little slush right in front of the launch but didnt look like any thing that would do damage.Another week of these warmer temps and it should be completely clear.
  19. I remember a day last year with 711skwerl in the 16' sylvan Winds kicked up out of the north with 3 -5 footers. We couldnt keep the lines in the releases on the riggers so we just ran some flat lines with a couple sticks and still picked up a couple LL. After an hour we had enough and rode the rollers back to the canal. It was pretty cold that day as well. Just be safe and know your limits to the conditions. P.S make sure your brakes are good going down to the launch its pretty steep. Give us a report when you get back.
  20. west winds usually are not to bad as long as you stay on the west side. Good luck
