  5. I have a 290 amberjack and installed a garmin ghp12 autopilot this past summer. So far so good. I used the Octopus remote power unit. I toll with the motor with power stewring. Works great. It took me about 8hrs to install the complete system Al HOOKNUP 2 [ Post made via Android ]

  7. I am replacing the drag washers on my tekota 500& 600s. Question. Should i grease the washers or fit them dry? I replaced my 700 & 800s this past season and fitted them dry.   15. I think im going to order a 1000 ft spool of the "super45" copper. The dia is slightly thinner .033 compared to .037 "standard" copper.   17. Just surfing the web and came across "Bloodrun" copper. Has anyone ever used this copper? It has a tin coat on it. I typically use either Atomik or Howie copper. Just curious. Thanks Al

  21. I got my new drag washers in the mail today. It took me about an hour to do the install for 3 reels. 40 min for the first one then 10 min each for the orher two. The drags seem great. Nice and smooth. I put them in dry. The trick for the click pjn is to insert a toothpick from the top to hold the clicker gizmo in and at the same time spin the star back on.
