Tried yesterday to fish but waves over the bow had us turn around so we tried again today. Fished off Rochester and found 3 cookie cutter browns and 5 nice Kings, 16' -20' Fow was best with all fish hitting spoons. Small 3/0 dispsey 40' back was getting action. Nice to see the kings around so early!

I used troubles clips last year, super easy to rig- didn't slide around. Worked great imo.

Congratulations on that gorgeous trophy ! What a fish! We were up there also this weekend and scored Saturday after losing 4 heartbreaking fish in a row. I always say, that river will almost break you mentally before she kicks ya out some fish. Your fish is well earned and im sure very appreciated, it aint the hatchery pond fishing up there. Great job, amazing fish , sure many memories were made but most of all- good job sticking it out threw the thick n thin. Determination is the key imo. The most successful guide in that area says he has a 25-28% success ratio so as long as you leave the dock with that in mind, ur expectations and dreams won't be crushed. I can see in gamblers instance using the components name bc its a finished product/lure/attractor that is added to his rig. Your situation maybe a lil different but to be sure and for your added piece of mind, maybe reach out to Mustad for an answer. Most of all, have fun with your work and enjoy yourself! I'm in the lure business also so I think I can understand your concerns. Good luck on this venture but don't worry about repercussions advertising your lure components, I've never seen a company come after a builder . I rarely mention VMC, Wolverine etc even though I use them and doubt you'll have any issues. Hope you enjoy your hobby bc most days you'll love it yet other days will make you wonder what the heck you were thinking starting this.
