NYS Muskies Inc Chapter 69 attempted to raise the limit to your purposal a few years back and was shot down by the state so we met half way. As of today, its perfectly legal to harvest any tiger above said size and every angler is entitled to use our resources just as we use them ourselves. My choices aren't always everyone else's choices and we have to live with that. All we can donis keep on keeping on..... Sent from my SM-G973U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Seems to be a hot topic last few years. When I was involved with Muskies Inc, I brought up closing the tiger ice season or making it strictly catch n release during winter bc of high harvest and got crucified from one end of the state to the other by fellow anglers. DEC when contacted said they want the average angler to be able to take home what they consider a "trophy tiger". Best we can do is OUR best n educate those who are willing to listen. Tight lines gentlemen. Sent from my SM-G973U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I personally use solvent based paints due to dry time but water based has come a long way over the last few years and is what 95% of the hobby guys use with just as big of range of colors, candies etc and don't require ventilation. Nice to see so many paint squirters on here! Great paint jobs gentlemen, those spoons n cranks look like they could do some damage! Sent from my SM-G973U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

https://tcpglobal.com/collections/airbrushes-gravity-feed-master-airbrush Never owned a master airbrush but haven't ever heard a bad thing about them either, entry level ones start around $25. Worth a look imo, Gravity fed is what I've always used. Sent from my SM-G973U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Id recommend iwata eclipse series- 15,000 baits over the last 12 years - What a workhorse! Tcpglobal also has the master series which is a knockoff of iwata for 1/3 the price and any compressor will work, just get a water trap. Great hobby, hope you find a world of enjoyment from it! This is Katias fish, Lax again. Time to get mount back maybe also taken into consideration, Fittante is known to take a year or two, Lax is a few months usually. I maybe mistaken but hasn't Blueye used both taxidermists, maybe he can chime in about time n painting? He has a couple of SUPER impressive mounts hes earned over the years! Ive used Lax 2x and picked them up at shows which may not be possible this year (covid) but saved $200 shipping . I also know of 2 fish (not mine) that were damaged during shipping and had to be sent back to be fixed. Local maybe best idea during these weird times. Pic is of a 2020 fish damaged in the mailing process (crack in head) my buddy got in ohio which is largest for the state for 2020 so far. Sent from my SM-G973U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

We were up this week and weedcutters were out. You should be able to find good green casting weeds in some areas come October while other stretches are dead. For trolling, its a crap shoot. Depending on barometer and local weather the fish will suspend or hug shorelines. Your gonna have to fish to find out sir. We were up this week and didn't find much suspended bait, most fish were close to shore. Sent from my SM-G973U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

In October casting and trolling the north end should be productive for you guys. Mayville has a large weedbed good for jerkbaits and gets its fair attention from casters . Trolling is also productive along the shorelines but don't forget the suspended fish also. Good luck and hope shes good to you. Sent from my SM-G973U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
