That Labor Day weekend storm did more than make big waves. It brought all kinds of stuff to us. Except the fish and cold water!

I get maybe 8 feet of blowback at 100 feet down with those weights. If thats any help. I would have to guess that you would get at least 20 feet blowback or so at that depth. They track very straight and I also use blacks releases with them. Your speed and under water current will affect your blowback so you will have to take that into consideration.

I hear ya. Seemed to suck every where this weekend. I wonder if the salmon have all ran in the rivers or just out deep waiting. I hope the bite gets better before the season ends.

Thanks for all the info. I fished today from 6am till noon and did not get a single hit. I tried everything but nothing worked. I marked lots of bait and fish in 100 fow but no luck.

I have a couple white glow dodgers I wanted to try early tomorrow with a fly or cut bait

When you say front do you mean welded ring towards lure or bait?

I got a deal on some Luhr Jensen dodgers but was wondering how you rig them. What end goes towards the pole and what end goes towards the bait? Is it the same action either way? One side has a swivel and the other just has a welded ring on it.

The cormorants in the Oswego harbor are terrible, opening day of early goose probably 80 percent of the birds in the air were cormorants. They sit on the break walls by the thousands.

I am interested, if you still have them next week I will probably buy them from you. I will get back to you next week about them. I won't have money until next week or so for them.

are you selling the bases with them?

Sorry if I sounded bitter Landshark it was not my intention it was supposed to be more on the lighter side but did not come off that way. I guess im just getting sick of sitting home due to bad weather. Maybe it's starting to get to me lol. I would really like to fill out some more FULL reports before the fish all spawn this year.

unfortunatly yes, last year was the worst in many years. I couldnt find any fish any where near oswego after the first week in september last year. the temps were very low in 50's all the way to the surface last year due to strong east winds.

It has been silent on here this week about Oswego area just wondering if anyone has got out to try it this week and if the fish are in the river now. I was going to try fishing saturday but I don't know if I should be trying the harbor or if they are still out a little deeper. The areas around oswego seem to be reporting fish in the rivers.

I have a spool of 20 lb p-line cx that I am selling. I paid around $60 for it a couple months ago and used around 1000 yards of it so there is still about 2000 yds left. It is a copolymer and fluorocarbon mix. I was asking $25 for the rest. I am in Oswego or could meet at wrights landing if interested. Just hate to see all that line go to waste but I switched to a heavier line so I do not need it any more.
