  1. I had my bow stolen out of my truck tonight! i like in macedon ny. Bow is a bowtech airraid. two piece octane quiver and octane rest. harvest time arrows with hunting girl wraps. If everyone could keep an eye open for me places you shoot and online for sale somewhere. it would be greatly appreciated if we can find these scums.
  2. ill go with costanzas! slim sticks are amazing and the gf loves the hot dogs too!
  3. we fished there 2 weeks ago out of the bass boat and landed 3 lost one. and saw fish jumping and others cathching a few as well!
  4. i fished last sunday and went 10 for 11 ( a lot of lakers around and got one coho that was 13lbs) and fished yesterday and went 2 for 5! much slower definitely didnt mark the fish that i was and didn't feel like going past 150 foot. fishin out of p-ville. But there was not another boat out!
  5. i was looking at the weights on the leader board. and i thought you were only allowed one fish to be weighed in with your name. and if you had a bigger one it would bump out the smaller one. on the lt's there is one guy who has two fish on there with the same name?
  6. i dunno i gave him a call and didnt get a call back so i was assuming he sold them. but maybe not.
  7. thats nice northern for sure!
  8. ya we did we measured the amount of cable past the nut and put the nut on the same distance as when we pulled the drive off. i figured out the problem though i dunno if you read the last post i made about the locking mechanism. and while it was out of the water i did pull the cover off and made sure that the nut didn't loosen up as well and made sure everything in there looked like it was shifting as it was suppose to.
  9. well an update on this problem. Yesterday i had a mechanic down at the boat and we messed with the power steering pump unhooked a hose and made sure it was pumping fluid and it sure was. and loosed up the power steering pump belt a little because it was really tight! and other than that couldnt find a problem. So we decided to take a look at the outdrive itsself so today i pullled the boat out of the water. and i found out that there is a locking piece which makes the outdrive not kick up when in reverse and you pull on it a little so you can lift it up manually. and it kind of looks like there was a little metal piece in there that if you hit something would bend and allow the outdrive to kick up on its own. Well anyway that piece was all bent up and the locking piece was not facing forward and was lodged against the bracket for the trim cylinders. and the outdrive was sitting on this bracket. So i lifted the outdrive moved the piece back bent the metal piece back to somewhat wat it was originally looking like and put some gas in the boat and went out in the lake and everything worked mint!! THere is a tube that sticks out directly behind the bracket that extends outwards when put in reverse and when the bracket was sideways that tube would hit it and not allow me to shift into reverse! so i killed both my problems with that piece! so if it happens again i know where to look. and if someone does a little search hopefully this will help them as well! thanks for the replies! Joe!
  10. thanks ill have to look into the shift cable and see if that helps!
  11. I am available to be an observer for a team. let me know if you need one. thanks, Joe
  12. my out drive hasn't been wanting to steel to the port side very well it takes a long time to make a left hand turn and often kicks out my auto pilot because of it. I checked and i do have power steering fluid and loosened the belt on the power steering pump and it turns freely. And ideas on things to look at? sound like the rams going bad? probably going to pull the boat to check things out and having a problem with the outdrive not always wanting to go into reverse. any ideas on this? motor is a gm 350. and the outdrive is a volvo penta 290 dp. And everything is on my 2860 trophy. also if anyone knows a mobile mechanic who may be able to come look at things with me to help find the problem and i can pay for his knowledge and let me do the work to it that would be awesome! i am docked in pultneyville and if i pull the boat it will be in ontario. joe
  13. alright that would be a good test to see if there is any flex with the outdrive. i currently have the outdrive off right now replacing trim cylinders and bellows. and wanted to see about people thoughts about this before i put the outdrive back on. and with it being an i/o thats is what was making me believe i should be ok to get through the summer and tackle everything over the winter. but i will definitely drill some drain holes and see if anything is in there. ( although the boat hasn't been in the water in 2 years now) but we will see and check the wood closest to the hull at the same time. and as far as the stringers there is slight delamination on one stringer that i can see. the boat was surveyed 5 years ago and it showed everything to be good. but that was 5 years ago.. And it is nice to see a couple people saying i should be alright to get through the summer! i have read a bit about the seacast transom repair has anyone used this to comment on it? seems like it would be a good idea instead of using plywood again. ( although like mentioned im sure the marine grade plywood would be better than the original).
  14. Well i was putting in my trim pump today and noticed a soft spot in the transom. it is not the whole back of one side but basically below the drain on the back of the deck. so I was planning on putting the boat in the water this weekend... or do i have to tackle the whole transom before i attempt to try and use it this year? i knocked on a few spots and the wood definitely seems to be better closer to the outdrive. and to the starboard side of the boat but a spot in the middle maybe a foot wide or a lil more by 2 feet tall all seem pretty soft. I know that if i dont do it now i will definitely be doing a whole replacement over the winter. but i was wondering if what others opinions were on the problem. have been working on the boat every chance i have had for the last 6 weeks now. and this is just crappy to find. the boat is an 86 bayliner trophy 2860.
  15. looks good. what year is your boat?
  16. hello, I am interested in this boat. where is the boat located and i was wondering if i can come look at it. thanks, Joe
