Which part? Giving a tip before you start fishing or reeling in a fish from the livewell. Lol. Fishing Jamaica sounds like the next episode of locked up abroad. Seriously though I'd be certain of who I was dealing with. Jamaica has one of the largest crime rates in the world. I hear the resorts are top notch but you don't want to wander out of rhem

We've gone out when it was 2' predicted only to find 5'era at the pier head. I recommend using common sense. If it looks dangerous it probably is. Boat size wont matter if you capsize. Its not just boat size its also experience. Typically though if they took the time to put out a warning that's a good day to sleep in. Just my opinion though...I could be wrong....

I did not read any of the article but cyano algea is typically a bacteria rather than an actual algea that is plant material.....just the ignorant Guy chiming in. Either way too much is not good

I use 8lb p line as a main line. easier than tying seperate shot lines, you can adjust depth easier. its not difficult to see imo. have not had any issues with it.
What boat did you end up going with Bob? I was on a charter with you earlier in may and you seemed on the fence about stepping up to a larger boat.
Anyone looking for a boat this size should really look at this rig, it is a salmons' nightmare.
