    I have a trophy 286 with VP 290 DP. My boat idles down to 2 mph GPS. With a slight wind I get pushed or slower Depending on direction. I love my duo prop, handles my boat wonderfully. My next step up is twins. For now, its as close as I can get. I do troll with a Yamaha 95% of the time due to fuel and maintenance savings.     I know that in the summer its somewhat skinny and the lake is about a foot low give or take a few inches. There were plenty of boats out last weekend I went by perch fishing from what it looked, but not sure if they launched there or were lift boats.
