  1. If you are planning to launch a boat you should check to make sure there is an open launch. Many are closed due to shore flooding and most bay have no wake zone
  2. Glad you were able to create some great memories. Maybe you can get another trip in this year!
  3. Well they will have to figure out something, if boats need to come out.
  4. You can still launch at the town launch at the end of King Street. By the Turtle cove restaurant
  5. Bring hip boots for launching. Most launches very high.

  18. 1 for six yesterday afternoon/evening. 4 on cut bait/twinkie rigs and 2 on spoons. Fish scattered, from 150-500 FOW Sunday AM 1 for 3. 21 pounder on cut bait with twinkie rig down 2 dipsies took off screaming, then just drop them. One on cut bait the other old fashion dodger and fly. All three come 550-600 fow about 100 down. Heading up Fri for 2 weeks for the derby, sure hope the fishing picks up
  19. Fish out of Fair Haven on Sat AM, 8 to noon. Stayed in tight. Didn't move a rod. Sunday went out to 250 FOW to start. Took our 1st fish about 300 FOW 110 down. Ended the day 4 for 6. All steelies. Nothing to right home about, a feww were legal but decided to let them grow up a little. All the fish came on sppos off the riggers.
  20. I bought Bugg Spray from Amazon last year. Definately helps, Only I found it only worked for 1-2 hours before I needed to re apply.
  21. We were out both Sat and Sunday. Early bite both days, Started at 100FOW and worked out to 400+. All but the 1st hit in 250+ FOW. 1st fish by 5:30 AM and nothing after about 12. didn't go back out to see if there was an evening bite. We were 6 for 8 on Sat. 1 sm steelie and the rest 7-8lb lake trout. All but one on the leadline, out 8 colors. Sunday, top line and riggers fired. Nothing on the leadline. All spoons. Sunday we were 5 for 6. 1 sm King and the rest Lakers. One of the Lakers was about 17 lb. Could have gotten on the board for Lake trout but hate to kill a fish I don't like to eat and isn't going to even stand a chance of winning a division. Heard ( and saw) that there were some nice 8-12lb browns to be found suspended in about 25 FOW.
  22. We had a good day Sunday morning. Set up by about 5:15. had the 1st hit by 5:20. Mix of steelie, lakers and a King. East of the chute. 160-230 FOW down 15-50 feet. All spoons. Black magic and the wrecking ball the 2 hot spoons for us. Seemed to shut down for us about 11 so we trolled by in to the chute.
