    My opinion this time of year . Don’t worry about temp . Fish the marks. Sometimes less is better. I run all them junk lines in July . Once I target the mature kings, this time of year .     Fished 8/15 , one laker on wire dipsey FF, king on 70 ft rigger FF. Got fish in 180-120 fow . Ended 2-7. Fished Friday morning in 150-200 fow, went 6-6 with kings .     Sometimes it’s hard to tell with a picture. Depends on how you hold the fish . A few years ago , I posted a 31 lb king . Everybody on this site said it wasn’t even 20 lbs . But on LOC scale, it was 31.4 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    I’m also heading up to fish Mexico tomorrow. I also have a 4 hour trip . I should be there around noon . I will have my radio on channel 68 . My boat name is (Here We Go ).     All I can say , my crew sucked today . 8/16 . We had the hits , but had a hard time keeping them on . Got on water around 10:30 , fished till 7:00. Most fish came from 180-225 fow . Riggers 95 with rocket took 4 hits . Dipsey 250 and 270 took hits with flasher flies. Rigger 80 ft took 2 hits . By the way , the fleas are getting bad . Had to clear lines every half hour.
