  1. Long Line's solution should cure the problem, but your weight will still spiral going down because the rudder is leading way. "The cart is in front of the horse." Downrigger weights need to be somewhat ballenced. The cable attachment eye is way to forward. Mind you this only another fisherman's opinion.

  11. Fished there yesterday. caught one 17 lb, one 9 lb and several in the 4 and 5lb range. all south of the newburg brige. All came on bloods. I did notice a few boats trolling. I am curious as to what they were trolling with and if the were catching any?

  14. Fished oswego harbor area on friday from noon to dark. picked up four browns 4 to 5 lbs. Two on boards an smiths. Two on attackers and riggers, just before dark. Found temps from 38 to 41. Fished mexico on saturday. lake was choppy. Trolled west to catfish with nothing to show. Turned back to little salmon and picked up two. Cookie on a board and smith, and a chunky 7lber on black and silver attacker and very shallow run rigger. Temps about the same.
  15. Super browns. Is there any ice arround the launch areas that might stop you from getting your boat out if the wind shifts?
