I am going by what i was told and thats all. But i would not doubt it for one sec. that it is true! Besides gonefishing71 you dont think that the DEC has done this themselfs?? Because they have! The pure # of coyotes in our region is way out of control and they dont know why...i dont believe it at all!

A buddy of mine told me that he talked to his buddy that is die hard on eliminating theese damn yotes! He said that he took a coyote and when got up to it and it had a tag on it....!!?? He brought the dog and tag home and decided to call the # (who wouldnt). Ended up being a yote FARM from somewhere out west (forgot what state he said), the guy from the farm said that " that coyote was purchased by Allstate Insurance!! And that "Allstate buys them from us all the time to RELEASE them"!!!! That is unbelievable if you ask me, they dont make enough money off of us already that they have to realease dogs to help prevent car / deer accidents!!?? And i can bet that they are not the only insurance company doing this either or organization in general for that matter. Just thought i would share this info with as many guys and girls as possable! Tank NO its not doe only. And all responses on the fact that you can go out small game hunting then go back a few days later and see all kind of deer.... the reason being is you are not shooting at them! Think about it, the week leading up to opeing day of gun season the amount of shots that ring off. Then you hit the woods and there are usaly deer all over the place, because the shots are not intended for them. By day 3 of the gun season you are lucky to see a squirl if your lucky, do to the fact they are being shot at! Again I am NOT against kids hunting at all or a youth season but more on the fact of what is really going to happen and the manner the state put this into effect! Whats next crossbows during our regular bow season..............................thats my guess!

I aree with you 100% as far as getting kids in the woods!! I have a 3 year old that I take in the woods to check my cameras look for sheds and even took him to my ground blind last year when he was 2! iI even whent as far as buying him a life time license when he was one month old, so i to have no problem paying for an extra license. It was awsome and cant wait till he can experiance why we all love this sport so much!! Thats not the problem i have at all, it's just the state decides to put this in place 2 weeks before the season begins. And i just realy hope people do the wrong thing as you said. Also, there will be the few hunters that will be "selfish" and say well if they are going to let kids use a gun then I will just take a gun in the woods and know one will ever know. Was just wondering what other people thought about the youth GUN hunt that is happening this year on Columbus Day weekend?? This is going to go for 3 days, sat,sun, and mon! This is also our first weekend we bow hunters are able to enter the woods. I personally dont get the point of doing this besides just another way for NYS to recieve more money!Plus you know damn well that if that buck of a life time walks out, there will be some guardians of these kids that will take the gun to take the deer for there selfish selves!! 2 things Rob, hunt the wind!! And the most important rule for me is dont wear your pants INSIDE your boots!!! Ever since i stopped doing that my %%% has gone way up! Think about it you put your pants inside your boots and go hunting for a few hours, walk to and from you stand??? Then get back to your truck and put all your scent free camo into your scent free rubber bin like everyone else, and let your cloths sit till the next time you go back out. All feet stink no matter what, but no one thinks about it because there boots trap the scent that comes from them. But now the bottum 8-12inches of your pants SMELL LIKE FEET , and with them saturating the rest of your clothes with stank a$$ feet wile sitting in a air tight bag or bin you smell like one big foot the next time you enter the woods!! You say you guys run the camera fairly close to your ball when running somewhat deep. Was wondering if you tried setting it back just to the point of seeing it to see if the fish that come into view strike more then the ones with the poparazzi in its face..?? Joe, we did close to the same thing Sunday morning. We hit a 18lb King and a 6lb bow on the inside, after we talked to you we went out to 450fow and didnt mark anything but a few small bait pods. Went a little further wich seamed to take forever and took a 22lb king and another short bow in 470fow, and that was it for the day! All but one came one the wire sd/fly or j plug. We fished last night and had the same thing with our biggest fish being only 9lbs!! Have not had an outing like that yet this year! Marked a ton of bait and fish but just couldnt get em to go. We to took two of the most beutifull Stealhead i've ever seen, but both of them were about 7-8 inces long!! Ended the night neting 8 fish and dupming one decent fish on the wire......What gives Sandy is better then that! Matt -Jakey Baby-

Looking at a 1988 27ft. Luhrs boat. V8 Scoprian motor that is next to new!! No survey but stringers and fiberglass are solid from what i can get at. Used to be a Sheriff boat!? The price is unbelievable just wondering thoughts on this boat...if any? I have never heard of a Luhrs till i saw this one.? They are asking $2500.00 because they need the $$ !! I am in the market to do what I need to do to have my capt. license by next spring 2013! Thats my goal at least. My ? is, i see you can take the course online, for right around $600.00. Is that a good idea or am I better off trying to find an in person course local(If there are any)? And if so how much is it to do it that way approx? I was told it will be right around $2500.00 total when all said and done. So i am open to all suggestions that any Captains might want to share to make this as easy and cheap as possable BUT still achieving all knowledge and information I need to be a Captain!! Man I wish i would have beat the crap out of our big fish on Sat. As soon as the fish hit the deck it blead like we cut the jugular!! My boat was completely covered in blood from side to side top to bottum! Due to the slippery blood and 6ft chop my buddy whent to put the fish in the coffin and sliped. Whent down like a ton of bricks with the fish landing on top of him! ! After they were done rolling around, he got up and was pretty red if ya know what i mean!! i will try and post some pics of our biggest laugh of the day!! But, with all that blood the fish lost and time in the box who know's how much weight it lost.? Matt -Jakey Baby-

Had the same thing happen to us 3 times this past weekend wile fishing the Pro-Am!! Put the meat down in that ice water and had it go off in the first 10 mins!!! I said "hang on its a BIG one"!!
