  2. I am looking in to possably buying some Okuma Convector reels. Any one have any experience with this reel? Im thinking they are right in my price range since im buying 4-6 of them, and they look alot more durable then the magda pro's that i have now! Im planning on using them for planner boards and downrigger's so would the 30's be good enough? Any help would be great!! And if you happen to have any let me know . Thanks Matt -Jakey Baby-
  3. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Time on Water: Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: Total Boated: Species Breakdown: Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: Down Speed: Boat Depth: Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Fished out of Sandy after work this afternoon for about 2 hours, with lots of First's happening! This was the first trip on the lake with my 2 year old son Landon. Once we got to where we wanted to start setting up i told him to pick the First stick out. Before the secound line was in the water, the rod fires!!! He fought the fish with a little help and landed his First Brown with in the First minute!!! The moment i have waited for, for a long time! Next thing you no line starts screemin again, but we were snaged on bottum and turn back to get the lure back that we had just boated our nice brown on! (Always have more then one color!!) Finally get set up and i hear another screemin real! i thought we had another snag, but instead this time there is a fish flying out of the water behind the boat! Forsure got to be a stealhead i said. Runover to grab the rod and the reel just starts tearing line off it!! After a great battle that was not expected, landed a 12-13lb KING!!!! The First king of the year in March i love it. Ended up with just the 2 in 2 hours but probably the best 2 hours of fishing in my life! Matt -Jakey Baby-

The weather could not have been better for being March 18th!!! Ended up going 7 for 11 in the short 3 hours. Most came on Jr. Thundersticks in 8ft of water. No Monsters but all in the 5-7lb range. Best area was just west of the creek and pullin at 2.2 mph. Cant wait to get out again this week!!! Jakey Babey Matt

  11. I got it! In case anyone wants to know rather than pulling it all the way threw the collet push it out the other end. Falls right out!
  12. I dont know if this is the proper ? for this page but i was wondering if any one knows how to take apart the extendable booms on cannon riggers? I just bought a used set of mag 20's and had to replace one of the collets (plastic sleeves) that locks the boom in the desired length. So i decided to replace them all. The problem i am having is removing the collet from the boom. There is a little nipple that holds the collet in place to prevent it from falling out. So do i have to actually break the nipple off or is there a way to get it out? Also, how to you reinstall the new ones without breaking the nipples off? Thanks Alot Matt, -Jakey Baby-
  13. Fly cases sold (payment peding)
