I know this is a little off course but i run my offshore walleye boards in the spring for the Browns. I love them and honestly feel like i catch more fish using them over my big boards. dont know if they give alittle differnt action or if it just luck, but they def work better. I have caught Browns, Bows,Coho, and Kings pullin that way with no problems. I now even pull my 10 colors all summer that way and love it. They are alot easier to deploy and to switch lures. Yes the weight of the board is there wile fighting the fish untill you remove it, but there are a few differnt ways to rig the board so they will free slide on your line if you choose. Again I know you are more thinking of Copper but dont rule the smaller boards out for browns and cores either! Matt -Jakey Baby-

Thanks guys! 3,000 grand is def a little out of my price range i was hopeing for more like 1,000 for a decent unit. I mean i could probably pay a Hot little chick to wear a bikini and drive the boat for $3,000 a season and probably have her get my for me to!!!!

I am really considering purchasing a autopilot before the upcoming season!! The price just scares me to be honest! So my ? is what is the best unit i can get for the least amount $$. Is it worth trying to find one used? Does the size of the boat matter what unit can be used? Are they a royal pain to install? Can you get this in differnt shades of color? If so thats what i will try doing so it will match the rest of the wood on my boat.

I am getting reading to AGAIN refinish my swim deck. I can never seem to get it to come out the way I want! It is obviousley pretty weathered being in and out of the water all the time and baking in the sun. The last time I did it, I sanded my b@%%s off, got it to where i thought looked half way decent. Then applied a ton of coats of teak oil to it. It just seemed like no matter what I did it just kept eating the oil up and looked like crap. My question is has anyone had better results refinishing there teak wood that was weathered? If so what did you do to prep it and what did you use for a finish? I have heard a bunch of things you can use, even as crazy as transmision fluid. But i want to use what will look good and last the longest!! Thanks Matt -Jakey Baby-

Very Cool! Congrats to the both of you!! I love the bucks that have that browish/redish hide, i have one like that on the wall and it just stands out compared to the rest of them!

Searched for one more hour today with no success! At least I can say I put in as much as possable to TRY and recover this Monster.I honesly did not see were my arrow maid contact! But when i let it fly i heard the biggest CRACK sound i have ever heard! More than likely some sort of bone. I know my arrow went all the way threw the deer because were I had last blood it looked like he stop and was standing there and there was a spot of blood about 5-6in dia. on each side of him. My arrow did not break and was coverd in blood form tip to tip when he finally droped it about 80yrds from were i shot him. If it was a shoulder hit i would think it would have broken and def would not have maid threw him. Not sure all what happend, I just hope it doest happen again and I am going to make sure I know were I hit whenever it is i get the chance. I am finally growing a set and am going to get back out there tomarrow and try to get one down before the guns start blazing! Jakey Baby Matt

Thanks for the help to all! I looked firday night 6hrs, saturday for about 5hours and again today for another 3hours today and never found the Monster buck that i truely feel expired! It has been the longest weekend of my life, and i am truely sick over what has happend!! Who knows maybe he lives to chase another doe? I sure hope so given the fact that i was unable to get the job done like i should have when the oppertunity was presented! My wife is ready to kill me because the fact of how miserable i have been since friday night when i was unable to recover this monster! On the evening of Nov. 9th i shot what would by far be the biggest buck of my life!! We trackd the buck for about 200yrds with lots of bright red blood! Then it slowly vanished on us. Backed out for the night and trying again in the morning. Was wondering if anybody happend to know a # to get ahold of tracking dogs? If so i would appreciate it more then you would ever know! Its going to be the longest night of my life!! P.S. heard a pack of coyotes howling in the distance, hope i can find it before they do Thanks Alot Matt

I am going by what i was told and thats all. But i would not doubt it for one sec. that it is true! Besides gonefishing71 you dont think that the DEC has done this themselfs?? Because they have! The pure # of coyotes in our region is way out of control and they dont know why...i dont believe it at all!
