Please practice common sense and keep in mind it is much more cost effective to have them shipped than to coordinate driving across the state for a price less than asking price. Money is not being saved and you are not doing any favors with gas $3.59/gal and more for Diesel. I am located in Watertown so unless you live in town I am not willing to travel and the price is set. .
  2. 15 lbs is a giant for sure. My personal bests came many seasons ago in May 2004. A double that was 14 lbs 8 oz and 14 lbs 6 oz. The interesting part of the story is they were both tagged fish. I called them in and both fish were tagged in Canada when they were 21” in length. When we caught them in the NE end of Lake Ontario and grew to 36” each and it was 15 years later. Pretty amazing how they migrated and chose their spawning grounds. The Canada Fish and Game sent me a hat and a printout with their data. Hard to believe time has flown by dam near 20 years now. We have boated many over the years that flirted with the 14 pound mark. None over 34”. I keep saying if you catch one 36” in today’s ecosystem it may be 20 lbs if boated this time of year. The goby diet definitely plumped up all target species. If the wind ever eases up for a weekend plunge we will try to make it happen. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. May we all be blessed in 2022 and many more! 🎅🧑🏻‍🎄🎄
  3. It looks like the boat stays in again this weekend. 😩
  4. Kevin I just looked at the weather (NOAA) and my take is this: there will be no ice forming and the wind gods say no boating either.
  5. I took a friend and those were by far his personal bests. 29 1/2” and 30 1/4” both over the 10 lb mark. I got to catch the third one which was 27”. A rare occasion for me. I will hopefully get out more before ice up. The Boston Whaler27 is in storage but the Grady White is close by and ready for action. I also have the open Starcraft ready to go.

Headed out Saturday evening with some friends. I have been drooling 🤤 all summer to get a window of opportunity to go. We fished from 8pm to 11 pm and managed some nice specimens. The big one tipped at 11 lbs 6 oz and was delivered to the taxidermist. It was his biggest to date and he doesn’t get to do it very often so it a fish to reflect on every time he looks at it on the wall. We will be back on the hunt again this weekend.
  11. Tough, tough, frustrating weekend in the Henderson area. We hooked 3 Kings boated 1, one other release took a rip and came off. Hit a few jumbo lakers. Very slow. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. The water temp in the Black is 76 degrees. There were salmon porpoising last weekend. Not a major run by any means. The ones that are there are November black in color. Lots of water, not sure of the exact CFS but if you really want to know it’s not difficult to follow it as well as the Salmon River. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  14. Lmfao 🤣 way to go Mike! Love it! Our end has been lakers, few kicker browns, grind on the eyes, good bass fishing. Trench has been dismal but we are anticipating the switch anytime-any day. Keep up the hard work and stay safe. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
