    Alarm 5:30 broke the pear before 6 and 7 fish before 7. started at 50 fow and best was 75. Only made it to 100. East trolls or north was most fish. 2 riggers 50-70 an 2 divers at 150. all spoons. Northern king 42nd and other mfg carbon. one triple, landed 2 some large logs and a deadhead right in front amazing lake O. Beautiful fish. kept last two and taste amazing.

    Sounds like fun and some how some way gear gets used, broken or lost. Just happens and better than sitting there with nothing!

    I switched from blacks to chamberlains try them to be able to adjust fish hit release independently from pulling the rod release. Nice for other smaller species of fish. never measured it but not sure the chamberlains get as tight on the fish hit release as the blacks. I do tighten them down for salmon to get a good hook set. both worked very well. Only changed when going from manual to electronic riggers.

    Just an FYI looks like they are dredging in the channel at Braddocks. Be careful if heading out. Man there are a lot of ducks. the ponds I hope will have a fish in them some day. Sad. Wonder if this low water has pushed fish else where and or lack of access to spawning is catching up. Be nice if something can be done to allow fish in the channels with all this low winter lake levels. Dredge the pond channels or a fish access pipe? I recall the 2014 plan was to fluctuate the water levels to save muskrats. What about all the fish?
