  1. I run 30# powerpro superslick on a diver rod and it never seems to pick up many fleas, used it up on ontario today and had 0 issues.
  2. Troll right down the middle of the lake
  3. now is the time to start drifting with spinners for walleye on honeoye
  4. Jigging on the big water sure is a a blast, just wait till you hook into a king

  6. http://www.lakeontariounited.com/fishing-hunting/topic/45317-mint-19-islander-wextremely-low-hours-loaded-ready-to-fish/#entry300807
  7. buy some seaguar and your problems will be solved.
  8. any 1000-2500 sized reel paired with a 7' medium lite action rod will work well for what you're describing. I personally use a daiwa lexa reel on a 7' ml st croix 1 piece rod.
  9. this boat catches fish, I've taken it out a few times and have had no issues running a full 6 rod spread with 2 guys with absolutely no issues, the powertran steering system works like a dream.
  10. fleas were terrible
  11. dead. fished up past the condos and I don't think we marked 20 fish all day. Best screen was near vine valley only fish was a laker on a 100' copper pulling a sutton 71. But it was by a Costa rican exchange student who was ecstatic to reel a fish in after the long "boat ride" ran copper, riggers, flatlines, divers. Something isn't right with daigua. Five years ago twenty to thirty fish days were expected, now, if you catch 8 legal fish, you're havin' a good day in my book.
  12. noaa.gov, has predicted wave heights (which can be very very wrong sometimes) and also if look on there you can find the weather buoys which relay instant info as to what's going on out there
  13. If there's bait that thick I'd drop a jig on it, there's definitely fish nearby.
  14. Yes a 44 will pull a 500 copper
  15. Nick where do you have your keels set on your walleye boards?
  16. Roughly 1oz/100'back =10'down
  17. seems like the general consensus on here is most guys are using seaguar fluoro for their leaders, 30-50# for flasher/flies, 20-30 for spoons
  18. bottom bouncers and spinners closer to the weeds?
  19. thumbwars or indian leg wrestling
  20. Blade baits and lipless cranks as well as paddle tail plastics are my go to
  21. Gotta love catching browns and other non-laker fish on a jig.
  22. most guys run 1-2 per side but there are days when I bet they wish they could run more, wire divers definitely catch fish
  23. 14.75 brown won
