  1. Not necessarily always Columbus Day weekend, ifishy. We try to avoid other tourneys and events such as duck season, deer season, etc. Tough time of year!
  2. Please, let's not start rumors. There is no problem with any fish from Canandaigua Lake. Also, we had some pretty nice fish at weigh-in this past spring.
  3. Couple days left to sign up for the tournament. Weather looks good!
  4. Photo attached. If interested please PM Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. It was working fine. I just upgraded to Humminbird with GPS. It does have speed by wheel. I'll work on picture.
  6. Way to go, Paul!! That's what we all wait for!
  7. Hey Folks - time for some fall perch fishing fun. Seager Marine is holding its Fall Perch tournament on Canandaigua Lake on Saturday, October 10, 2015. It'll be a team tournament (1 - 3 persons), teams weigh in 5 perch for total weight, hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Fee is $40 per team. All entry fees will be paid out as well as plaques for first 4 places. Refreshments at weigh-in. Come join the fun! Must be signed up by Friday the 9th - No late registrations. Rules and Registration forms at website seagermarine.com or stop in at the marina.
  8. Again, thanks for all the great input and comments and suggestions. Seems to be many varied opinions. We're always open to input so if you think of anything else just please keep posting. We'll try to look at all the input and come up with something that's fair and fun!!
  9. Keep the comments/suggestions coming! Lots of great input. This could be a fun time for us all. You guys are the best!
  10. Just need 100 entries to break even with MSRP. Need more entries to generate prize money. That sounds like a reasonable number if we time it right and don't run into a bunch of conflicts.
  11. Hey Fellow Fishermen - we are toying with the idea of putting together a Lund boat raffle/fishing tournament for next year on Canandaigua Lake. Along with the usual payouts, your entry fee would get you entered into a raffle for a new Lund Tyee 186 GL with a 150 HP Mercury 4 stroke engine and trailer (MSRP ~ $50,000). Entry fee would be $500 per person. We are thinking a multi-species tournament. Winning a category gives you additional entries into the raffle. So it's basically a raffle for a boat as well as a fishing tournament and you can increase your chances by winning the tournament. We'd just like your thoughts on this to gauge interest. Is this a tournament/raffle that you'd be interested in? Should we cap the number of entrants? Is fee too high/low? When is the best time of year? Any input or suggestions? Great idea? Terrible idea?
  12. Was out for a couple hours on Monday morning (before it got crazy out there). Spent most time around the pump house and a little north. Picked up a laker and a rainbow and finished with a pickerel. All on riggers down 65 with FLT spoons. Pickerel was on a slider, but I never went inside of 75 fow.
  13. Great job Les. I'll be out Sunday morning and I sure hope things go as well for me. Thanks for the report!
  14. Price Lowered - $50.00 - you pick up in Canandaigua, NY. Unit and all wiring/transducer included. Approximately 9 years old. Asking $100. Located in Canandaigua, NY.

    Canandaigua Canandaigua 7/6

Got out for a few hours today. Fished north end, east side from drop off to Pelican and stayed between 80' and 100' contours. Found 1 8.5# rainbow down 68' over 100 fow. Only used riggers and had no problem with weeds or fleas. Marked several bait pods down about 50'. Traffic picked up by noon so I quit.
  16. Nice Paul. Looks like things are going well. You've worked for them for sure!
  17. Good to see you out there Les. I was only out for a couple hours (4 - 6) and only had the one laker that spit the hook back at me right at the boat. Looked to be a good 5+. He was just north of German Brothers down 60 over 100 and grabbed a FLT Bob Barker. Looks like things are settling down a little now and hopefully we'll get some consistency.

Great Job, Paul. Thanks for the info. I hope to get back on the water tomorrow.
  19. Thanks for the info Les. I hope to get out soon. Getting the boat ready with a new Humminbird. Can't wait to get started! Been pretty busy at the marina.
  20. That's a day you won't forget! Great job!
  21. It was a great day for the annual Seager Marine Spring Perch Tournament. The perch were a bit stubborn but everyone managed to do well in the end. First place was taken by the Jeremy Kierst team with 6.34# for 5 fish. Second place was 4.3# by the Steve Wright team, third was 4.00# by the Jason LaMagna team, and fourth was 3.85# by the Dave Booth team. It was a fun time with refreshments at the weigh-in as everyone told their fish stories! Can't wait till next year.
  22. Weather looks good for Saturday. Should be a fun time going after those big perch for the tournament. Stop in at Seager Marine tomorrow (Friday) between 9 and 5 or come early on Saturday 6:00 - 6:30am. Details in post above.
  23. Lake is clear of ice. Just need to watch for debris. Lots of boats out there today. Time to sign up for the perch tournament to be held on April 25th!!
