So after three nights with no action my son checked the fresh deer outback. The freaking motion detector wasn't working. Deer has been getting hammered after all. Hopefully be back online tonight.
Bait pile has been quiet, was hoping the coming front would bring some activity.
Yotes are nomadic. If they were in the area they would be hammering it.
Maybe later.
I took an hour lesson with John and learned a ton. I traded a gun on a different one and was very happy with the transaction. Great place to shoot, people are first class.
Coyotes are funny. I have a roadkill in the back of my yard every winter. Some times they are absolutely hammered and others they don't get touched for days or even weeks. We keep a trailcam next to the motion detector and it gives us a good idea of what's been around.
