    Both 20# and 30# big game leaders have been eating into my slide divers lately. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or what cause it doesn't seem to happen to anyone else that I have talked to. Last trip out I ran one with a ring and a 4oz wieght to get it deeper and when I brought it up the ring was sawed almost in half at the back of the diver where the line rubs on it.

    the day divers were hot how far out were you running them? standard or mag size? I cant seem to get anything going on divers this year

    fished yesterday afternoon in front of the nuke plant. mainly stayed in 160-240. only went 2/4. tough bite for us and the currents were insane. We had a quick release on the center rigger and when we brought it in there was the mag diver on it?? nothing destroyed though we got lucky. 400 copper went with a mag mooshine and 100 rigger went twice with a mag moonshine. had a release on F/F but must of been a quick shot nothing there when I got to the rod. took a 17lb king and a laker. we tried inside waters 120 ft and had great temps 55-60' down but it was void of life. Hardly any boats out. We saw one boat in what looked like 40-50 FOW and a few boats way out beyond us. clearwater, have you been getting most of your fish in the morning?

    on your riggers just tie your 30# ande right to the flasher snap swivel. no leader required IMO. I would use a leader with spoons cause 30# is pretty thick, but not for F/F

    i caught kings on 12 color 2 years ago (before it broke). Mag spoons on it, and most of the time it wasn't running deep enough so I put a 4oz dive bomb on it, attached after 2 colors. It broke on me one day must have been a weak spot in the core or sheath. I lost 3 colors and I split the rest into smaller cores, never replaced the 12. i like copper

    depends what reel you are putting them on when you take off the old washers not the order. the replacements will be the same sizes
