  1. Take the time to read this thread regarding Lowrance. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=33929
  2. You can not rely on most weather forcasts. If I had a nickle for every time the predictions were wrong, I"d be the RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD!!!!
  3. Depending on the age of the unit you may have a problem getting service. Last I knew Lowrance does not provide service on anything over 5 years old. That being said, it may be cheaper to replace the unit than try and repair. Even if a local repair service can be found will parts be available? Do a search on this site, there are several threads about Lowrance units and their service or lack there of on older units. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=33929
  4. I would demand my money back. Also never a good idea to pay up front without having a sea trial of the boat. Even a new boat needs a sea trial as problems are inevitable with a boat, even a new one.

With a 1989 the ethanol will ruin the fuel lines.
  6. You are 100% correct Captain Carl. I'm quite sure that your grandmothers fridge and stove were made in the USA, not some third world country! I've never seen an electronics product that wasn't outdated the day it was bought.
  7. That would make for a very interesting tournament!!!!
  8. Sounds like you had a great time.
  9. Here's what I found out from Cortland Line. Just received these emails today. Hope this helps everyone.
