  3. It felt great to finally get out fishing. We fished in front of irondiquoit bay for 2 hrs. Boat ran great with no issues and the fish were nippin. Went 5/6 with a nice class of browns. It was all bay rats for me today in 12-15 fow. This was first opener I couldn’t fish with best friend since as long as I can remember. As we all get ready for making more memories with friends/family cherish every one of them. Looking forward to all the reports and hope every has a safe season Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile appIMG_0144.HEICIMG_0147.HEICIMG_0150.HEICIMG_0146.HEIC
  4. I like that idea. Will the Gen 2 give as good a pic as Gen 3 with P66? 99% of my fishing is Trolling not structure scanning. Just thinking because I have it I should set it up Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Thank you, felt like something wasn't right Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Last time so I feel like I'm asking the right question for you, sorry about this just trying to clarify. Right now my Gen 2 is not linked so that is fine. My Gen 3 is set up like this In the sonar port I have a P66 plugged in In the structurescan port I have the totalscan ducer plugged in In the installation I chose the P66 transducer. When I select sonar page I can see it's working. When I switch to structure scan it doesn't seem to automatically switch the totalscan (when this transducer is working I can hear it). Sorry for beating a dead horse and do appreciate your help Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Thank you, when switching from Sonar to structure scan do I need to manually select the transducer? Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. I have HDS Gen 3 and Gen 2 on my boat. My Gen 3 had a P66 and the Gen 2 has a 50/200. I have a brand new Elite Ti7 I don't use. It has the totalscan transducer. Totalscan transducer fits the structure Port on the Gen3. Can I use that for structure scan on the Gen3?? If so do I have to manually switch from transducer to transducer for Sonar/Structurescan?? Planning on linking units through Ethernet so I can delete the standard 50/200 transducer currently linked to my Gen2 Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  16. Great deal. Just went on, looks like only 50 series are left on sale. I would of bought a couple of 30's and 40's Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. I fished Saturday she walked out to lake flip. 48 ish surface temp 41 on bottom. This was from 60fow out. We did have loaded screens with bait but the bite was slow. We fished 80-150 taking couple 2 yr old Kings. Hindsight after a hearing a good report. Friend fished a brown program in tight under 20fow and had a great day. Big browns, steelhead, and small Kings. So if it's still cold hug the shore with stick baits or try 550+ for stable water. Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Saw a report yesterday that rain pushed allot of fish into the Niagara......... Good luck if you make it out Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. I would try 120-200 ish and look for temp. If it's not right pack up and motor way out. I fished shipping Lanes (550fow) alot last season right through October and did great every trip. Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. I'm with ya. I don't ship anything. Cash in person. And I still prefer my fax machine to emails just to blow someone's mind [emoji3] Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. We targeted 85-100fow. Keep your riggers 5 and 10 feet of the bottom. My divers stay at 1/2 and 2/3 from bottom. Copper down the middle hugging the bottom. Gotta get them off the floor. J plugs and meat rigs did most of the fish. I know others that had a good night around 45fow. Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  23. Last night I took my son and his friend fishing looking for some big Kings. We had a steady pick right up till dark. Some majors, some steelhead, couple 2yr old, and a Skippy Atlantic. #beatswatchingfootballanyday Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Took a quick trip with my friend and our daughters. Goal was to get on steelhead and that's exactly what happened. We ended 6/6 in 2 1/2 hrs . Fished 120-135fow. Riggers 65-85 and divers out 175-220. All were 9-12lbs
