  3. I seen the chinook dipseys on Ebay and noticed they were being shipped from Rochester.Assume they are for sale locally?
  4. Are you guys running the Chinook brand dipsey's or just the lure jensen ones...what size? Best color, brand and size on flasher/fly and spin doctors.....where do you shop for your stuff? I've been checking out EBay. Thanks, looks like wire rods are next !!
  5. Looking to add to my arsenal ...right now I run 2 manual riggers with stackers, all with spoons(all I have) and 1 rod down the chute with a 2oz snap weight and a stick or spoon. Should I buy leadcore or wire combos next and what new baits should I get ...j plugs, flasher/fly, dodger /spoon..etc. Not catching many fish lately and feel a need to expand for success. New to salmon fishing, this is my 1st(expensive) year. Thanks Gary
  6. Caught a lot of big smallmouth in Chaumont during opening walleye. The one in my profile Pic was over 7lbs! Try planerboards and stickbaits around the shoals...can't hurt, worked great in May!
  7. I fished out of Sandy on Sunday...nothing, marked fish and bait around 40 ft down in 250-280 ft . Didn't move a rod in 3hrs.
  8. I was told they released these flies in the Adirondacks to combat the canopy(tent ) catapillars...now they are everywhere and getting worse it appears..don't know if there is any truth to that, but thats what I heard
  9. Thanks Prof T ....you should've seen the one I lost at the boat last weekend !!! Still shaking my head
  10. I do something similar all the time, I even have an electric (Minn Kota EM80 LB) mounted to my main outboard(200 hp), Bow mount Terrova(80) Ipilot link connected to my humminbird 999 and a honda 15 hp kicker. I push from the rear and follow tracks or run auto pilot from the bow, love it ! Use my kicker only when needed and can adjust speed by using engine mount trolling motor...slick!
  11. Going fishing out of Sandy tonight if the weather holds...any reports from last night will help, found Laker's on bottom in 80' on Sunday...Thinking 100'-120' 60 down for kings might be good ? Spoons.
  12. I enjoy Larry's post...keep doing what your doing Larry !
