3/5 today. Not alot of action but all were decent fish. Had bigger laker on ten color that wouldnt budge. Made the mistake of trying to pump rod to gain on em and pulled hook. Had another heavy fish that fought like a brown, knot at dipsey came apart. Lots of mistakes made today but ended up with couple around 5 and one around 7lbs. Last minute decision to fish owasco. Hit water late morning. Had a solid screen of fish and bait. Lots of big hooks 100 down over 125 to 135. Landed 3 smaller lakers. Had heavy fish come loose about 25 ft behind boat, and several rigger releases w nobody home. Weeds suck! Fleas are minimal. All landed fish came on chartruse evil eyes 30 behind rigger, down 70(65) according to probe. Washed lots of gear around 40 and 100 where screen looked best but no luck. Fished from 6 to 1pm. Had hit on jplug behind dipsey, and had 90' rigger fire. Back to back hits, both came unglued. That was first thing this morning. Didnt move a rod after that. How bout those flies! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
