  1. Senor Snagger,

I am still a student of walleye fishing. A good number of my eyes on the st lawrence come during muskie season. Last couple years it seems various flavors (perch, shad, grape, and blue) of the 8" Reef Runner has produced. Particularly on the planer board. Later in the season the eyes will occasionally hit 10" and 12" baits! Awesome stuff. Good luck!

  2. Sorry you didnt put any fish on the board. Sat and Sun were very difficult fishing conditions on chaumont bay. If it's any consolation productivity was poor here also. Hope you and your dad still had a wonderful time on the ice:) Fish or no fish the outing makes for great memories. Good fishing!

  4. X2 Chaumont Hardware will point you in the right direction on all fronts. Greg is very knowledgeable and a great great ambassador of the sport and Chaumont. Here is a pic of a Northern caught in chaumont bay last week.... A true hog.post-155409-14226620171793_thumb.jpg

  6. Thank you... We were working for the eyes..... A fellow angler 150 yards away from us iced 4 pigs. Largest was 12.5lbs. All released except an 8 lb male for the dinner table. Just wasnt our day I guess. Next time!

  7. My fishing buddy and I hit Chaumont Bay hard on monday. Lines in by 640. It was a fairly slow day..... The highlight-besides my buddies canned venison, yum- a nice healthy lake trout on my new tip-down. What a great game fish. post-155409-14217982620144_thumb.jpgpost-155409-14217982794492_thumb.jpgGood company, good fishing, great memories!

  8. All great info, as usual. A guy I know could have used the ice chart yesterday. He was a bit overzealous about the cold and snow and gave his sled a bath up to the handlebars🙈. Lol. Ice is not quite ready for equipment yet in lake o, thousand islands area.
