  1. Wow!! That is a well earned catch prof T! The 'comedy of errors' always seems to happen when u r on fish, lol. So frustrating...... Great work keeping ur head and limiting out. How long do u normally fish a spot before moving to another..... If productivity has slowed or is nonexistent?

  3. Went quite a few hours trolling without a fish. Last night I decided to change tactics........ I changed typical location and threw a double bladed spinner with a power bait. Bam! After about 30 min hooked a nice 6lb eye. Could not be happier!

  4. Hahaha...... I know. What a profession! Get paid to do your job correctly 30% of the time. Its interesting the Almanac forecast contradicts the majority of meteorology professionals. However, The 220+ year old periodical claims 80% accuracy in their long range and winter weather predictions..... Time will tell, I guess. In the mean time, here's hoping!

  5. Farmers Almanac released its winter forecast......They predict another very cold winter in our area. Looks like we may luck out with another awesome year of ice fishing!! â„ï¸ðŸŸðŸŽ£ðŸ‘ðŸ»

  6. As we find ourselves past the midway mark in August I cant help but think about the ice fishing season to come!! We have been spoiled with outstanding ice fishing weather the last 2 winters..... I hope this El Nino doesn't raise hell with the hard water this winter. El Nino aside, still counting the days and ready for hard water!! Be safe and tight lines.

  7. Excellent points here.... I love walleye. Who doesnt?!!! I am a novice walleye fisherman and every fish is a thrill..... That said, 8lbs and up go back to reproduce another day. Simply try to respect the resources we all enjoy and hope it makes a difference.

  8. They can be found in usual haunts this time of year...... It seems that getting them to bite has been the trouble. Some days are better than others.... Really have to work for them this year..... This has been my experience so far this year.

  9. Thanks Kevin...... We seem to stick the occasional eye during muskie season. Wondered if anyone varies size of bait in their program with any result. Always appreciate the input:). Tight lines.

  11. Kevin, nice takes! Do u ever troll larger baits for eyes? 6-9"range? Also, have u ever fished the larger kinchou minnow or bagley "bang o b08"? Curious on ur thoughts as it relates to big baits.... Productivity etc. As always, thank you for your kind input. Good fishing.
