  1. I planned to drop a flyer off at the store sometime this week but if you don't mind doing it that would help out. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Awesome contribution! Can anyone tell me how I can also make a donation to the kids raffle table? I'm sure there are some others wondering the same thing. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. If your looking for an excellent guided tiger muskie and walleye expirience I would strongly suggest checking out otisco lake guide service. Justin is a great guy and extremely knowledgeable fishing guide. The day will be taylor fit to meet your expectations whether your a hardcore angler or a newbie bringing the family along for the memories. Good luck planning your trip! 4. Kaptag, I look forward to meeting you at this year's events. I'd like to ask one thing of you and anyone that shares your opinion. Please give this one chance, expirience it with the rest of us (if in fact it is decided to be allowed), and then form an opinion. A closed mind is the enemy in regards to forward progress of any kind. Good day. 29 more days until the end of winternet seasons fellas. I wonder if the pike, tigers, and walleye are counting the days.... Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Kids these days watch muskie anglers on you tube like we watched Bill Dance every Sunday morning. In a few years they will be out there fishing next us on their own boats. Shouldn't we show them how to respect the fisheries and other anglers now so that we all don't have to deal with uneducated "fishermen" when they are grown up? Something worth thinking about I say. 6. Thanks for sharing your opinion kaptag. Personally I take no offense. I don't see any reason for any negative response. Everyone that is or would be participating should be able to voice their thoughts without a public lashing. Although my outlook is different, I'm sure the guys in charge of chapter 69 will consider each of our opinions and make a decision based on the standpoint of the majority. They have to hear our opinions for that to work. So thanks for sharing yours. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Kudos Sol !!! Awesome, thank you. I also will put my money where my mouth is and donate a $50 gift card from Musky Shop on the table if that's exceptable. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. That's what will make difference. More so than any contribution or donation to the sport that our club could offer. Getting young people involved should be the first priority in my opinion. If our common goal is in fact to protect our amazing muskie fisheries. Incentives to include the youth could go a long way to help secure the future of our muskies. 9. All of this planning is making me itchy!! I'm excited to meet everyone and hopefully learn a few new tricks from some of you guys that have had the sickness for far longer than me. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. This probably isn't the place but would anyone be interested in some sort of incentive to bring young people along to these events? Be it points or prizes I think this should be encouraged. I have only been to a few tourneys but I haven't noticed a teen at a single event. I know if I was exposed to a group like this when I was a teen, it would have saved me from a few mistakes that I regret in my fishing past. Just a thought. 11. If you can get me a flyer pdf I will print and distribute them. Any way I can help, let me know. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. Does anyone know if this change would have had any affect on the results in any recent MI derbys? I have only fished a few in the last year as a member but I don't recall anyone in those derbys producing over three fish. I'm looking forward to attending some of these tourneys that present this concern in the coming season. My opinion is the opposite for what it's worth. I believe that we should only be scoring (let alone awarding prizes for) mature legal fish. In my opinion the process of CPR on legal "trophy" sized fish should be what we as a club want to promote and put in the spot light. As opposed to promoting and rewarding the unnecessary handling and photo taking of sub legal fish. I also think this change is one step towards the mindset that every angler deserves a trophy just for participating. When I go out and win a muskie tourney I'd like to know it's because I out fished every other angler that day. Not because of some handicap rule. (As in the golf scoring system.) These are just my thoughts and opinions. I'm am all for whatever change the club makes. Whether it lines up perfectly with my views isn't what's most important to me. We are all part of the club for the same reasons. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
