  1. Here is a red I cracked with the x-bow in October. Had another running around behind the house last week, but he disappeared quickly. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Nowhere near you guys but like reading all the stories and such. Found this guy a little over a week ago, just hoping the cold next week will bring him out during light. Northeast WI public land, late archery season. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Got a 200, and 300 of 45#. Caught a bunch of fish on it. 200 was one of my most productive rods, on Lake Mi, and Superior. Not one kink, and got one tangled real good with another line. Something that would have turned copper, or lead, for that matter into waste. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. I have ordered tons from Anglers Avenue, top notch outfit that has super fast shipping and excellent prices and gear. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. They are about as different as a stick bow and a compound,. And when your hand no longer works, your bow will just fall out of it, so no prying needed. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Take off your notifications, you are ****ing at a guy for posting stuff for sale. Give me a break. D A., DUDE!Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Not saying you can't shoot 100 yards, and kill. But really it's as realistic as shooting a compound 100 yards. I want to see someone off hand put 3 arrows in bull at 100 yards. Especially in hunting situation. I can't even see that far, lol. Deer can move a long way in the time it takes for an arrow to get there no matter what you are using. More of a poor ethics thing in my book. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. You couldn't be farther from the truth. I hunted over 30 yrs with vertical bows of all kinds, killed over 100 bucks. But when your body gives out, and shooting a bow can't be done, doesn't matter. Thats what put a Crossbow in my hand. Been four years and I can guarantee, Hunting with a Crossbow is no, yes I said NO, Easier. Off a rest it's easy, 40 yards. Off hand , I was as good with my verticals. 100 yards. Ya Right. Can you shoot that far, yep. But so can you with a compound. Just takes a little more practice. I never had a problem drawing my bow, on Deer ever, and it's actually easier to shoot 360 with a compound out of a tree. Take one in the woods and you will change your mind. Hopefully it doesn't take what it took me. I really love my crossbow. Somerhing I didn't even think about five years ago. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  11. Here are the Scotties I have been using for years, haven't lost a ball since. I bottom bounce for lakers often on Lake Superior and these flat out save your equipment, and eliminate the "Bounce" when in 3's. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Can you say Snubber, would never run any rigger without one. Scotty Snubbers won't be pushing near the water of an Amish. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. Definitely dont get Med Heavy, for riggers. You want bend, med to med light. I prefer 7'6-8' . Okuma GLT, are cheap and good. Don't need Line counter, but I like them for setting back, I run long leads at tines, 100-150' and they are about $5-10 more. OKUMA Convectors 30's for the money, but really like the Cold waters. 20# big game . Good for about anything. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
