  1. I'm hawking multiple forcasts. Doesn't look horrible at the moment. Have to see what kind of systems roll across. Don't want a few good reports manipulating decisions. Does look like temp is settling in, but this time of year marks are more important to me. Depends on individual strategy and craft stability. 1 to 2 is my limit. Unfortunately easterly wind is easier for me. Good luck folks. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Hachimo Keep it tight bro . We'll be thinking of you and pop. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Saw your rig parked at the grove last weekend, sweet set up. I'm booked for 22nd to 24th and labor day weekend. Not expecting miracles this season. Couple in the box is all it takes. Hold down the fort . Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  5. That wasn't ment to be an insult to you. I was slapping myself. I run a small aluminum, a 12" log would wreck my day. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  9. Great day to be out. Had fun with Hachimo. He's got a hell of ride. One for the grill, but good company made up for slow morning. Went out of big river this afternoon. Found temp 80 to bottom in 140. 2 knock offs on FF's and a couple swing and a miss. Back at it tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. I'll save your space. Gonna be slow but some of my best days were just like this. When in doubt fish for trout. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Might gut's been telling me that the corner by the plant should be holding better water. Heading up in an hr or so. Any browns hugging bottom ? Love kings but a couple footballs for the grill works for me. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  18. Just caught up on the Oswego report. Didn't know there was a tourney this weekend. Was thinking of hitting Oz for easier access to deeper water. Think I'll just play in Mexico this weekend. We'll find them. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Probably be a start point, should have reports from today and tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Based on 3 different marine forcasts that I just looked at for mexico bay, they seem consistent. Winds 5 to 7 knots ,seas 1' or less for the next 4 or so days. I'm sure out at the 100+ it'll be a little stiffer but overall pretty nice. Don't take my word for it, things change in minutes with chances of T storms. Boats ready to go, hope to see everyone out taking a well deserved breather. Now all we need is fish lol. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Good morning Gregger. I run a small rig with pretty much the same set up. Let me just start by saying it's not easy but the reward is off the hook. Getting everything set is the easy part. You're 1st hookup will make you want a bigger boat. Lol. I stick to 4 rods with 1 passenger, sometimes 2 depending on lake conditions. You'll hear alot of debate about temp this time of year, focus on the marks, although I like to find temp breaks when possible. Usually try to keep gear just above marks, with one rigger tight to bottom with a spoon for the occasional brown or laker. Tried running core down the slew a few times but was too much to deal with. Run speeds between 2 and 3, lots of S turns, and a ton of patience. Too much to tell, you'll figure it out. Just a precaution, be sure you keep an eye on the sky, make sure you're crew are familiar with safety protocol, and don't leave your comfort zone. Not trying to tell you what to do, but that lake has no mercy. Good luck, be safe, and have a blast. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Was probably Lenny in the river. He's starts scouting the river at the ball park every 1st of August. He's a nut, but I've been lodging with him for 18 yrs Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. A few days of a westerly should bring em around. As long as p3434 doesn't rain on the parade with his weather post Thursday night it's all good. Hint Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Hope you're off the water dude. Don't know what the local forcast is there but we're getting hammered down here. Should blow through by tomorrow Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
