  1. Cleaning station was still closed at noon when we came in. Fishing was slow. Most marks 150+. Nothing on the screen from 50-100. Got a few decent ones but that’s it. Tried everything. Back at it this evening.
  2. Headed back up to wiggle around in tight for some HOGS. Got an open seat in my tin can if anyone wants to head out. I’ll be staying at the Lighthouse and usually have my phone with me. Will update y’all if it’s any good. Tight lines
  3. DEC measured it at 29 1/2lb, I didn’t think it was that big, but they said they verify their scales daily. Boat Doctors said 27lb 9oz I think. Had I known it was that close, I wouldn’t have waited 3 hours to weigh it. Anyone know what a fish loses the longer it’s in the cooler?
  4. Had a good time this weekend. Thanks everyone for bsing at the cleaning station. Hope to be back up on Friday!
  5. Fat Gal, maybe have to weigh this one. Green Jeans Mag, 130fow
  6. 70-130. Starting losing marks as we got deeper. Lots of boats deeper, I would imagine they’re doing alright. We’re just looking for the fat LOC girls.
  7. Nope, 3 matures, 2 little guys. We’re in. Headed back out for the evening about 1700.
  8. Little slower, still managing. Same stupid Green/Black/White spoon.
  9. Same thing this morning. Stayed tight, went 5 for 6. Same black/green/white spoons.
  10. New thread for the weekend. They were snapping before the rain! Ended 4 for 5 in about 90 min before the cleaning station closed. Spoon bite in tight
  11. Yes. Posted a few pics in one of the other threads. Biggest was 29.8# scale weight.
  12. No real program. Picked fish up on just about anything. Nothing seemed to be consistent
  13. Fish were tight this morning. Screen was wild from 65-90fow until about 9am. That wind the last few days must have convinced them to come on in from their Canadian vacation.
  14. We caught a lot of small fish out deep but the fatties were tight. There’s a lot of boats still out deep so they may be doing well. No real program. Spoons and cut plugs seemed to pull most fish. Haven’t done anything on flashers/flies.
  15. Slowwwww out here. Bunch of shakers in 500, few mid 20” fish in 200. Still working way in
  16. Cannon Uni-Troll 10 STX TS manual Downriggers. Great condition, used this year on Lake Ontario. Purchased new boat, went to electrics. These aren’t the cheap manuals. These have stainless spools/booms, swivel bases and come with 8# balls. Retail $444-475 new each. $400. Live in Pittsburgh PA, but will be in Olcott much of August.
  17. I’ll be back in the morning chasing them with you. Hope we can find a concentration
  18. Good afternoon fellas. Struggled a little this morning and was wondering what everyone else was up to. Wiggled around out in that 400-450FOW this morning, didn’t mark a whole lot of bait, snagged a few Steelhead and two smallish Kings. Would have kept going North but I’m fishing out of a tiny tin can and it was kicking up a little. Ran into 80-100FOW and screen was loaded. Bait and hooks all hanging near the bottom. Ended up picking up 4 mature fish between 15-22#. No one else was set up in tight and I assume it’s because of the bath water, but it seems the fish were active. Was only at the cleaning station for 20 min or so, but it seemed the deep guys were getting Steelhead and Cohos.
  19. Sure is a nice one in Pittsburgh! 2012 Starcraft Fishmaster 210/Yamaha 200
  20. Sorry, didn’t mean to interrupt, just wanted to relay my positive experiences with Muddy Creek. My first boat that I rigged, he was nice enough to come right to my house and measure the boat up. I realize I live very close to him, but he didn’t have to do that. Every other time I’ve tried to get ahold of him, he’s gotten back to me if he didn’t answer. He’s a small shop and the only one who answers the phone (I believe it’s his cell). Glad you were able to order elsewhere, busy time of year for all of them.
