  1. Fish seemed to be spread out. Couldn’t really figure out a good program today. Got some decent ones but nothing big.
  2. Head out until you run into the Canada border, drop your baits 100’ down and wiggle around. Tons of fishes out there.
  3. Lotta action on this thread 😂. Well, just got back. Fishing was pretty insane. One of the better trips for #’s of fish. Nothing huge, just very nice fish. Once we were able to get deep, we caught a lot of fish. Inside of 300 was pretty slow. Spoons and Meat seemed to be what they wanted. FF didn’t do much. Be headed back up on Friday, see what happens.
  4. Best Salmon net for the boat? I’m fishing out of boat that I can walk out on the rear deck to net fish so I don’t need it to be super long, but something at least 6’ would be great. My old net finally gave out this last weekend in Olcott. Preferably something that can be at my house by Friday morning as I’m headed back up.
  5. Watching the forecast and it looks pretty nasty all the way up until Saturday. For a guy that just makes it up a few times in July and August, where would be the safest place to start searching for fishy water? Head out deep to the stable water or stay in tight and try to find cool water? I would imagine theres some big girls in tight, maybe get lucky and hook a few. I’ll be arriving from Pittsburgh Thursday afternoon, maybe get out a little prior to Saturday depending if the water wants to cooperate. Ill keep the thread updated if anything works. Appreciate the help LOU
  6. Pittsburgh PA with no problem shipping them to ya.
  7. Cleaning station was still closed at noon when we came in. Fishing was slow. Most marks 150+. Nothing on the screen from 50-100. Got a few decent ones but that’s it. Tried everything. Back at it this evening.
  8. Headed back up to wiggle around in tight for some HOGS. Got an open seat in my tin can if anyone wants to head out. I’ll be staying at the Lighthouse and usually have my phone with me. Will update y’all if it’s any good. Tight lines
  9. DEC measured it at 29 1/2lb, I didn’t think it was that big, but they said they verify their scales daily. Boat Doctors said 27lb 9oz I think. Had I known it was that close, I wouldn’t have waited 3 hours to weigh it. Anyone know what a fish loses the longer it’s in the cooler?
  10. Had a good time this weekend. Thanks everyone for bsing at the cleaning station. Hope to be back up on Friday!
  11. Fat Gal, maybe have to weigh this one. Green Jeans Mag, 130fow
  12. 70-130. Starting losing marks as we got deeper. Lots of boats deeper, I would imagine they’re doing alright. We’re just looking for the fat LOC girls.
  13. Nope, 3 matures, 2 little guys. We’re in. Headed back out for the evening about 1700.
  14. Little slower, still managing. Same stupid Green/Black/White spoon.
  15. Same thing this morning. Stayed tight, went 5 for 6. Same black/green/white spoons.
  16. New thread for the weekend. They were snapping before the rain! Ended 4 for 5 in about 90 min before the cleaning station closed. Spoon bite in tight
  17. Yes. Posted a few pics in one of the other threads. Biggest was 29.8# scale weight.
  18. No real program. Picked fish up on just about anything. Nothing seemed to be consistent
  19. Fish were tight this morning. Screen was wild from 65-90fow until about 9am. That wind the last few days must have convinced them to come on in from their Canadian vacation.
  20. We caught a lot of small fish out deep but the fatties were tight. There’s a lot of boats still out deep so they may be doing well. No real program. Spoons and cut plugs seemed to pull most fish. Haven’t done anything on flashers/flies.
