    Shakedown !!! Felt great to be back on the big pond !!! Launch took a little shovel work to clear some ice out but it was pretty easy getting out. Bob and weave the floaters. Ran east to keg. Scored a few browns on a West troll in 15-18fow. Spoons only. Black/copper/orange Wanted to also try for some Lakers for a local Derby contest. Got a few in the boat and one was good enough to take first, so overall it was a fantastic first trip out.

    Popular boat, I'm sure alot of guys willing to share pics. I was in the same position when I was looking to re do my boat, so to help the next guy I posted step by step pics of the process. Most guys like seeing the progress regardless of the boat, so be sure to share !!

    Fort Niagara has a public launch that is very nice. About a 3 minute ride and your on the bar. Or, depending on exactly when and what species your after, staying near Wilson will split the difference between Olcott and the bar. You definitely can get by without a Canadian license just watch the line and stay inside it.

    I've been keeping my eye on Olcott (backbay webcam). Can't wait for the chunks to clear out ! I'd bet she will be opened up by Monday.....fingers crossed

    Just did the transom on mine too. It was time. It actually was fairly solid around where the main mounts / center but spongy on the outsides. After the transom came out, it was pretty bad throughout. But, before I put a new main on, I knew I should do it to be safe.
