  1. So after reading through the "rubber band / planer board thread" I got to thinking. I have wanted to give the WS a try this year. I have 2 Coldwater high speeds ready to be spooled with WS but now I'm rethinking, so I'll ask for the consensus of those that have the experience. The reasons I was considering: Having the equivalent of a 0-whatever copper all on one reel Clipping off 19 strand to achieve a "per foot" depth vs 200,300,400 Much smoother / less problem line Ability to use on both king's and eyes Gents, I really thought this was going to be a nice addition to the spread but the comments on the other thread are making me question things. I spoke with the owner at torpedo who was more than willing to explain everything and my main question was how to terminate on an inline board. His answer was use an offshore board, rubber band (16#) on front and a red OR for the back. Is there really no benefit to the WS / 19 strand combo ? If I did this should I splice in mono lengths every 50' or so, even though that will really lower overall strength of the setup ? I haven't bought the line yet, so I'm just seeing if I should just do copper or give the WS a try. TIA
  2. Perko has some good diagrams. You can install both leads to same terminal along with any + mainline. Yes, you can run both motors.
  3. Perko for me. Works as it should, very common on most boats
  4. Depends on how many king's you want over the boat. My first trip last year was in April, it was a shakedown run where we targeted Lakers. We ended up boating some king's. Every trip after that we caught more and better class of king's. July and August were just rediculous with the quality and quantity. I would say if your new to the lake and trolling, get out as soon as you can and start learning the ports, your boat, the gear etc. Targeting Lakers can be done with a salmon program and is typically productive. A few "Laker" trips and your destined to find a king or two. Most importantly you learn your gear which will prove more beneficial than just hitting the lake in June and learning when the bite is good. Good luck !
  5. I'll def be watching the webcams. Hope all with lakeside property stay safe !

  11. Seeing if there is any interest. Bought it as a project but not sure I'll have the time so figured id list it here. If I have time, I'll fix it up and sell late spring. Just trying to recoup what I have into it. Would make a great starter / family / fishing boat. Previous owner kept it winterized and tuned up till he got sick. 1990 Larson Delta 22' cuddy Mercruiser Newer interior and floors. New battery Needs head gasket Roller trailer 4 new tires New brakes Needs a few lights No major issues other than head gasket. Solid boat and trailer. I see them go for 4-5 during season. Call/text or pm me with questions. 716. 465. 9554 Looking for 2k obo
  12. 95% of mine get released. Maybe 3-4-5 haven't swam back. Always strive for a fast unhook, pic, release. Bleeders go right in the box. Green fish get torpedo'd face first, non floppers get the bogo grip off the transom till they start splashing around. After I lost the first floater that i searched for after pulling 6 lines, I started the bogo grip off the transom. It's such a waste when that happens and I'm not in the business of feeding the gulls.
  13. Lock it up. I have scored a pretty fair deal on a Honda 90. Thank you to all those who assisted !!
  14. And the corn kept the ducks coming back. Sensing a theme here.....
  15. Hefty bugger ! Nice shootin
  16. Pricing ?
  17. Hotter than a 2$ pistol..... Gotta say, as a rookie on lakeO I watched almost every video he put out. They were beyond helpful. Then he goes and does something stupid. Was a big disappointment to me. On another note, if Michigan stinger is looking for somebody new to sponsor in his place, I'm available. Always by the books and will post plenty of videos ( with no corny one liners ).
  18. 6 assorted. 30$ plus 5$ shipping.
  19. They sure look comfy
  20. Bump. Hoping to get this moved by spring. Willing to work a good deal with any LOU member. Can help load, possible delivery etc etc. I'm hoping to have all the controls pulled in the next week or two.
