  1. Dog?? Tracking?? What breed? I train DDs myself. Don't do much bloodwork but have and trained for it. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Metal carports can be had fairly reasonable that would be my first choice. I've used a garage in a box from TSC . Worked fine if you brushed snow off every so often. One boat has a 2x4 frame with a tarp cover. Having multiple boats they won't all fit in my barn. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Nicely done! I'm loving seeing the silvers making a comeback. I'd gotten to a point I couldn't find anything but lakers. We fished Sunday and Monday with pretty solid results. Need to modify my equipment some. Weighted lines seem to be the ticket. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Awesome! Love seeing kid's get in on the action Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Stix I believe your right. I may play with weighted lines on planer board.Really interested in trying weighted steel. Might even experiment with wingers on riggers. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Yup that was us in the launch. We launched at the south end today. Kept fighting fish so we stayed north. End up pulling out at the north end save the little guy from the rough stuff. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Somewhat ashamed I've grown up on Owasco, still own the family camp there and have never landed an eye on the little O. Well today on a rather bumpy wind we got it done!! With the help of my buddies son. Waited to get the boat on the trailer for a picture. 24" 4.9 lbs Not a record but I'll take it. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Got into Fleas on Owasco today not horrible but worse than it's been. Found plenty of lakers some browns and a few bows Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. What type of rods are fellas using for Fingerlakes trout. Especially with dipsey divers? I have Okuma white diamonds with wire and Cold Water reels on the boat. Standard and Mag divers. Looking to feel more fight in my Fingerlakes fish. Just grabbed some chinook divers to experiment with. Wouldn't mind finding a lighter rod an reel setup. Growing up I used 9' light spinning rods on owasco with manual riggers. That added alot of excitement to fighting fish. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Smelting man I miss that! Spring trout in front of camp practically swarming me lures. Now the weeds are crazy. Snorkeling out front a week ago it was like being in a different lake. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Two weeks ago we doubled with these two south of Dean's. Sunday morning we caught several nice bows despite the bumpy ride. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. I believe they do spawn. We have seen them in several local streams actually. Amazing how things have changed in Owasco just in my lifetime. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Way to go!! I've yet to land an Owasco eye. Probably time to step it up Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. The boat is a 25' duckwater boat with twin 150s. I had it built to guide duck hunts. Makes a really nice fishing rig in the off season. Just starting to get it setup. My camp is just north of where we were. Sadly haven't done a ton of fishing the last ten years. We found bigger fish to the south east. Still haven't hooked an eye but it will happen. Cayuga was pretty good Sunday also 8lb bow and a 10lb laker were the big guys of the day. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Looking good! We went to Owasco on Sat. Slow start got really busy about 830. Do you have a red pontoon? Think you were fishing next to us for a bit. Sunday we changed up and went to cayuga had a good morning over there. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Nice airboat! The plan is to build a removable pilot house for mine once the fabricator heals up. I bought it for guiding duck hunt's. Makes a great fishing boat plenty of space and handles rough water well. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. So I'm new to the forum, fishing out of a Duckwater 25' boat, Fairhaven would be my closest port but we move around. Grew up on Owasco lake still have a place there. Haven't fished much in some year's but now my daughter is into it. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Nice fish! I've never caught a Walleye on Owasco. Watched guy's catch them in front of my place. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
